Just HOW Incompetent and UNETHICAL Is MCI (Ben Volin)?

People like Volin are not incompetent. They have just realized that an easy way to grt people to read his stuff is just to write something provocative whether it is true or not. One can always use the "we all make errors" excuse afterwards if necessary. Professional journalism needs to either hold themselves to a higher standard or their entire profession will be disreputed by guys like Volin. I would even suggest that lawmakers start thinking about legal standards for professional journalism.

Pssstt.......actually, he is incompetent.

There is a difference between Felger/Borges malevolence and Tanguay/Volin ineptitude.

Not just that, but lazy as well. 5 minutes on any search engine would have shown him that it wasn't ROBERT Kraft's group, but the Kraft Foods group.

Ben Volin is a frikkin retahd.

That's an insult to ******s.

Well it is clear why Volin is the go to guy for Felger and Mazz...... Birds of a feather and all that.

Just HOW Stupid and UNETHICAL Is Ben Volin?

This question is a perfect example of a Moebius strip...it can never be answered because there is no beginning or end....

I LOVE that site! I've sent it to multiple media people. No one seems to care.

Yup Haters gonna Hate! Mediots & NFL* luv takin shots at Pats. I haven't watched NFL* Network in months but when I did take a peek other day there was a feature on Luck and they were sayin he was next best thing since slice bread. I guess they gave up on Rodgers for that role. Whether they like it or not, Brady is still best game in town!

It was incompetence. He did an inadequate job, clearly. It's definitional.

neg·li·gence
ˈneɡləjəns/
noun
noun: negligence; plural noun: negligences
  1. failure to take proper care in doing something.
"some of these accidents are due to negligence"
    • LAW
failure to use reasonable care, resulting in damage or injury to another.

I can play that game too, but it is pointless. I guess I just have higher standards that I hold professionals to.

He didn't even use Google for research, he actually just googled "Kraft foundation" and the top result said Robert Kraft so that was good enough for him. As in, his entire research was "I googled Kraft, it showed me Robert Kraft, that's all I need!" A total of about 1.3 seconds of research.

By this logic, if I googled "Ben" and the first result was "Local man Ben (any last name) arrested for child pornography", then therefore Ben Volin must be the culprit. I mean, I googled "Ben", how many Bens could there be in the world? Can't be more than 1, right?

Being negligent doesn't mean it wasn't incompetent. A job that's poorly done because of negligence is still a job that's poorly done. A job that's well done in spite of negligence is still a job that's well done. Are you really going to keep trying to argue with the dictionary?

On the bright side, at least he apologized for incorrectly reporting information that paints the Patriots in a poor light.

Looking at you, Chris Mortensen and Kelly Naqi.

Someone paid for it - these things aren't done out of the kindness of hearts. But it's more likely it was Brady and team than Kraft; Brady has something material to gain out of this (4 games is no small dent in his wallet), while Kraft does not.

If you really cannot see the difference there is no point arguing this with you.
