No Mevi$ at ring ceremony.

I'm glad he helped us won the Super Bowl. And I am glad he's now gone. I'd rather gamble on youth than deal with his constant "I need to be the highest paid" crap every year.

But here's the thing : did we deal with that ? I contend "no, we didn't". If I remember correctly - Revis was never one to speak out of turn. He showed up, talked only about doing his job, and was nothing but well-behaved during the entire season (unless there are things that never got out)... He came in - he played. I dunno why people hate him so much. But, I suppose it's 2015 : a time when feelings > production. So, if you all want to spurn Revis for his attitude, go ahead. I think he was great. I don't care about words. I care about winning.

DR is and will be DR no matter what. He wanted a ring so he signed with the best team
to have a chance to get one. I don't like him or hate him. He is irrelevant, HE is a JEST.
And we all know they SUCK. He is not very classy, must have taken lessons from that
self proclaimed classy RB. Oh well, they all suck.

When you look back on it, he wasn't really "huge". He was above average at times and average at others. Whenver he needed to step up in a big spot he failed. Nelson slant TD, SS x 2 in the playoffs and not to mention getting picked by an official in the SB. He was thrown at quite a bit more than I expected last season.

Well to be fair he was on the Pats so he wouldn't be getting beneficial calls.

I'm not saying he did do that, I am saying he will do that. I think at least. His track record with doing that in NY is high, and Jet fans constantly cried about it. Glad he was here, but for the price he is asking I am also glad he's gone. No ill will, it just ran its course.

Well SOMEONE has to be there to say "We are all Patriots now".
Are you sure he is going to say that or maybe he will say we are all members of the NFL now since that is what Goodell has told him to say..

Superb football player but it appears he's the type of character you never turn your back on. Given his comments of late, I'm glad he isn't with the team to receive their rings.

It's OK by me. He came for the ring, so they can Fedex it to him. It will be as close to a ring ceremony as he will ever get!

Viper, I'm disgusted by his recent comments and I believe he showed his true colors, but I can't pretend he's not a great player and that he wasn't great for us. I thought he was outstanding. Just his presence on the field, I thought, made everyone's job easier. But, he's a scuzzbucket and an unappreciative mercenary. Most of all, he's a Jet. Case closed.

I don't really care about his recent comments. I just flatly don't think he was as good as I or others expected him to be. Too many mental lapses and in some ways when against elite recievers, he seemed half a step slow. To be expected really he's not getting younger. You'll see this year in NY. Did he makes the team better? Absolutely. Doesn't mean he was great. You are right, Mevi$ is a Jet. He's their overpaid problem now.

Latest from PFT: Revis sending his MOMMY to get his ring tonight! Holy **** - that says it all! His MOMMY! What a gutless pu####!

Screw him. He comes here, plays the "I say nothing derogatory about anybody" angle. Then the minute he leaves he starts flapping his two faced lips. Don't let the door hit you in the ass. Great player, ungrateful human. IMO

Going on his behalf will be his mother, Diana Askew.

He's a jet, he has no business at Kraft's house. Send him his ring in the mail with proper instruction on how to return it, in case he doesn't want it.

I think they should send it USPS Fourth Class (appropriately reflecting his mindset and current team).

Give it to him to him before the week 7 game vs the Jets. Prior to giving him the ring, show highlights on the big screen of Revis getting smoked by Steve Smith and the pick play in the super bowl. haha
