While many in the media are intrigued by the lack of new pronouncements on Framegate from Brady, I'm more intrigued by the total silence from Jastremski and McNally the other central characters in this farce. If this is the frame job we think it is to disparage the Patriots and Brady while propping up Roger Goodell, why aren't these two men proclaiming their innocence from the mountain top? The Patriots lost draft picks and a measly million (to them), Brady lost a few games and a good deal of his reputation, but these guys lost their livelihoods.

To me, their silence means they have representation and good representation at that. My guess is the NFL's lawyers know that the league is most vulnerable legally from these two rather than Brady and the NFLPA. Unlike Brady, they are not public figures so there is no need to prove malice in a defamation action.

Nice post. Well thought out.

It would be great if one of them files a defamation lawsuit and forces the NFL to turn over their documents and correspondences, at which point Brady can decide whether or not he wants to sue as well.

Last seen, one was on a diet and the other gorging on Doritos.

The Wells Report basically said these 2 gentlemen are corrupts and dishonest and put them in a position of suffering reprisal in the streets and having a hard time to get another job. If indeed there was no wrongdoing on the Patriots part they got a winner lottery ticket. I have no doubt they have good representation, any labor lawyer must have offered his services for a percentage of their gains in a possible lawsuit.

Their claims will likely be settled long before they see a courtroom. But, the NFL is in a pickle if they exonerate them of any wrongdoing but still insist Brady and the Pats are guilty.

If you think about it, it's really astounding how much these two knuckleheads could change the narrative on this. If, adolescent texts aside, they are credible that this is all BS, that's huge. It's sort of amazing that some enterprising reporter hasn't gotten not just to them, but even a friend of theirs who might be able to comment on what they've said.

Of course, if they've really spoken to no one, then that speaks to their ability to be more savvy/mature than has been evident so far. Which may end up being a very good thing for Brady & the Pats. Will be interesting to see for sure.

Jeremsky and McNally have probably been told to keep quiet right now and the Pats will fight that battle later.. or perhaps they signed a "non disclosure" agreement.

IMO they are scapegoats of the NFL.....

As someone else said McNally was PT-help, and he was in it for the sideline seats.

Jastremsky on the other hand, just lost his full time job with apparently no pay and on about 24 hours notice. .....

Think about that for a moment and look at your bank statements and think of what you would be doing right about now. ..... Resume -mail, monster.de, unemployment line, .... Going to the lawyer is on the list, but feeding the family is ranking a good bit higher IMO.

What are the odds traitor krafty who suspended him before he even was told to is doing anything for him? Yeah, right. Lotsa luck sukkah.

I was shocked the report didn't refer to them as Person A, Person B. Not a lawyer, but these guys were defamed on pretty hard don't know if it was illegal.

I am thinking perhaps they are best off waiting for Brady to bring the hammer first ... and they will follow.

I will be loving this ..............

Either that or maybe the NFL bribed them to keep quiet...or maybe threatened them with bodily injury...sorry but I am not putting that past theme even.

From what I know, it's just a minor part-time gig for McNally. He probably spends more on gas driving from NH than he makes handling balls on the sideline 12 days a year.

The release of what he reasonably expected to remain private texts has damaged his reputation. I get tweedle-dee and tweedle-dum confused but the stuff where he told, was it his Grand mother, that he got the signed Brady 50,000 yard ball is bad enough. Add {rest of message deleted out of respect for Mrs. McNally} and he might have damages. :)

I would not be amazed if Jonathan, or Gisele or somebody helped his legal search on the qt. :)

Repeat after me:

It's. Not. About. Malice.

In a nutshell:

Famous people: "Did they know the story was false?"
Not-famous people: "Was the story false?"

I'm as anti-Bob as everyone, but my suspicion is the dirty old man might have an ace up his sleeve because the Pats might have some influence with these guys or their lawyers.

It appears they cooperated in the production of the wellsreportcontext. How else would we know deflator is an euphemism for someone losing weight. Also, it might explain the mystery of why the Pats suspended them before the NFL asked them to.

I've thought a deal might be in the works with the delay we've seen with the hearing. Perhaps, I am over thinking this, but I think it might be a possibility.

I feel like this is wishful thinking and they won't actually sue. Hope I'm wrong.

Lol like Kraft is going to go to bat for these guys when he didn't go to bat for Brady. They are on their own and should have lawyered up last month.
