I don't care if its no big deal when the evidence makes it more likely than not that Brady didn't even do it in the first place.

Montana talking about Brady over the last... I'd say 6mos. to a year made me dislike him in a way I never thought possible. This doesn't help that in the least. The presumption of his statement is still that something happened. And I guess it matters less to him now than a little while ago since his boy Jerry Rice came out and admitted to cheating too.

I need to stop reading NFL news. Ugh.

Now that he has 4 rings, QB club has gone silent or have taken digs at Brady. They all thought he'd be stuck at 3 forever and never challenge them. Sorry guys your time is over, no one cares about your past accomplishments.

Montana should have just kept quiet, every time he opens his mouth about deflategate he ends up tarnishing his own legacy. He is basically been saying, cheating is no big deal, we did it all the time. Stickum, silicon, whatever it takes, no big deal.

I think he's innoculating himself to some degree. I think that he and others have figured out that Brady and Kessler will be going to Court if Brady's appeal results in anything but a reduction to Zero games. That means that Joe and others will likely be called upon to testify under oath and pain of perjury about how the League actually functions.

Can we really expect this to happen? I'd guess that Stickum- Gate Joe would be an afterthought given his extensive time out of the league.

It is no big deal, statistically there are no difference in Brady's stats at home(balls controlled by Pats Staff) and his stats on the road (balls controlled by the other team)...

If Brady is left with even a single game suspension and Kessler goes to federal court, the agenda will be all about embarrassing the League. The gloves will be off and the Deposition list will run on for pages, starting with Goodell and Kensil and the Ravens and Colts management and staff.

That's why I think Goodell will be looking for any "cover" so he can reduce Brady's suspension to zero games.

I'm glad someone is optimistic. Bu I had high hopes every step of the way since the Monday a.m. post AFCCG game reports and I've had my assumptions dashed every step of the way.

That's about where I am at. This thing is so ridiculous from the jump and every moment since where you thought something could go our way the opposite occurs and it gets worse.

I remember that first night driving back from my fathers after the game at like 12:30-1am and hearing the story when it broke. I jokingly texted my father here we go again(referring too spygate 2) thinking no way air was going to really be a story. Went to bed with a combo of this BS and the game itself on my mind and woke up to a whole new world.

Somehow I still think something will go in our favor but since nothing has I should give up except I can't get passed how insane this is and how crazy the lack of anything has condemned TB and I fully think he will vindicate himself and all 31 owners including Kraft will owe him a public mpology.

I'm not sure I'd look at Montana's comments as solid support. They're far better than the likes of Mark Brunell and some others, but I don't see what he said as carrying much weight.

I disagree. It is like those going for it on fourth and one scenarios that mathematicians show. It is always in the team's best interest, but not the coach who could be fired for the "bonehead" decision.

Staying out of court is in the NFL's best interest. Reducing it to 0 will get 31 teams to think Goodell sold them out for his friend, Bobby Kraft. Going to court and having a judge force him, and he can say to those 31 teams that he tried.
