It's not the size that matters, its what you do with it. Browner used his length well. Hopefully Cox is up for the challenge...After losing browner, we needed size and now we have Cox that's big.
Funny thing is if this was the 2013 offseason a secondary consisting of Cox, Fletcher, and McClain would be considered one of the better secondary's in the NFL. All 3 players played very well in 2012 and struggled 2013-2014. If it was poor scheme fits, bad coaching, etc. we might have something. They are all relatively young overall.Imagine if the Pats' week 1 starters were Fletcher and Cox... and they were actually good... PatsFans would have a damn heart attack.
Wow, the list of stuff he goofs up is so comprehensive, so much that he goofs up things I didn't know existed.
Very interesting observation. This means they must at least have the physical ability to play corner at a high level, which is obviously a very big part of the picture. So put that together with the Patriot's well-known ability to coach-up underperforming corners. Oh, wait...Funny thing is if this was the 2013 offseason a secondary consisting of Cox, Fletcher, and McClain would be considered one of the better secondary's in the NFL. Sounds like that Debbie downer is going to be freaking out even more this season with the way your backfield is looking right now. Was he seriously freaking out over Pre season games & early regular season games ?!?!?!? Wowzers !! How could a fan freak out with Revis and Browner holding it down ?
Losing Wilfork, Revis and Browner is going to hurt. I haven't seen the Defensive Rookies you guys drafted this off season, But just losing those guy I mentioned is gonna hurt. Your Offensive might have to step it up a bit.
I was interested in Spikes before you guys picked him back up. Now I know why he was still available. Luckily we picked up a possible lights out LB from "The U" by the name of Denzel Perryman. The kid has potential. I know you guys worked him out

Patriots transaction: Undrafted rookie CB Eric Patterson (Ball State) has been waived, team announces. Roster now at 89 players.
Here's the break down on what he did for us. Starting with us Charger fans desperately needing help in the back field, We were really stoked and looking forward to have Cox be our #1 CB with a good past and a good head on his shoulders....
Its funny how other teams fans think they over take our stadium, The reality is, Charger fans represent hard and make a lot of noise. You'll see tonight and I'm predicting 4-5 false starts on the Pats.
Bill Belichick said:Yeah, there was a lot of energy in the stadium: night game and the Chargers in their powder blues and definitely a lot of energy in the stadium. But there was a sea of Patriots fans behind our bench. I don’t think I’ve ever quite seen that before. They were just all kind of in the same spot, it was almost like a college game in a neutral site, where one side of the field is one team and the other side is the other team. It wasn’t quite like that, but we had all those fans right behind us. They were loud and vocal. There were a couple times when I was talking to somebody or talking to one coach or another while the other side of the ball was out there and you hear the fans start yelling and [you’re] like, ‘Uh oh, what happened?’ and it was us making a good play and our fans cheering. It was a little bit of a different sensation. But the crowd was – it was an electric night. The crowd had a lot of energy. The support and the fans that we had at the game and all of them there behind us was awesome. It was great.
