21 days a slave.
Yes, I know that. Just the same, rear-ending a car containing three people who are transported to the hospital and fleeing the scene on foot isn't exactly synonymous with jaywalking.Murder. Hernandez was charged with murder.
According to the lawyer for the folks who were rear ended, there is overwhelming evidence
that Spikes' car was the hit and run vehicle.
I mean I dunno, IANAL so I don't know what else we should expect him to say.
However the fact that the Pats ditched him before is not a good sign because we all heard about their security connections to the police. The circumstances and him being linked all seemed to have some unspoken byline but it's hard to tell what is just the press running with an easy story and what is legit.
If he's innocent I feel really bad for him. But I'm just not getting the sense that the dude is super innocent and it won't be hard for them to match up paint from the other car to his, impact fingerprints or whatever they'd call them. This won't be a tough one to figure out.
Why?If I'm Bill Belichick I'm thinking that the next time I run into Urban Meyer I give him the finger...
Why?
The crime sprees were on BB's watch. Does Meyer have some telepathic/see into the future powers with the ability to control players' actions a half decade after the U of Florida umbilical chord was severed? Both AHern and Spikes were on their second Patriots contract....Is that Meyers fault as well?

I was stoked they signed him but the sheer idiocy he displayed via this little incident negated that. So much of that kind of up-down with this team lately.I just realized I don't care about Brandon Spikes at all.
It's funny that you bring that up. I was just having this conversation yesterday.
Cunningham, Spikes, Hernandez--hell, even Tebow pretty much sucked as far as a real NFL QB.
Then again, Urban Meyer is a great college head coach, so I wonder how much of it is coincidence or strictly University of Florida past issues?
I think this was already well known. It's basically whether or not Spikes himself was the party operating the vehicle, as it could have been a friend or family member.
