Damn. That interception against the Jets in 2010 was awesome, it made my night (the 45-3 game). I'll always remember him from that play: it was the one decent drive the Jets were able to string together that night, and his interception completely demoralized them and after that, it was just OVER. Hope he gets his life together, or is exonerated.

I still get goosebumps (it is the first game I ever went to in the Brady era, one of the best experiences of my entire life: I was about 75 yards from that play, and I went freaking CRAZY in the stands).

Was psyched he was going to be back, am pretty bummed he is cut.

Alan Branch got caught leaning out his car door throwing up from partying too hard. The Bills let him go and New England signed him not long afterwards.

That's just not right, they should at least waited for him to emerge from the woods.

Said he wanted to show he would hold himself responsible to the team....ya leaving your car at 3AM shows just that...loser

The obvious guess is he had enough to drink that it was a bad time to be interacting with cops.....It isn't a matter of his insurance premiums going up, or whatever.

Thats my suspicion as well which isn't a big revelation. He was hammered. Smashed his car into something. Kept driving. Banged into the Murano. Called OnStar. Called a buddy to pick him up before the cops showed up.

Actually OnStar calls you if the airbag is deployed to see if you need medical assistance, or the Bambi rescue squad....

The fact that he was driving a Maybach is crazy. It just shows that guys like him think the gravy train lasts forever. There won't be any big contracts coming his way. Maybe the 49ers sign him after their unexpected retirements.
