I just realized the other day that the texts regarding "deflate" occurred prior to this whole brouhaha!!!

An interesting development.. that makes this shyt even less credible..

If you mean 'the deflator' texts, yeah, that was may.

What's kind of revealing about this Nov text is that wells didn't ask about it during a 7 hr interrogation of a guy using the bathroom.

Wells claims he planned to ask at an imaginary 2nd interview that would never happen because he had already agreed to just one interview

Isn't that the Boston media market's fault for continuing to tune in and call in to those guys shows? To get rid of them you hurt them w/ low ratings.

I wish I could agree with this 20 times. They don't care if you're regular-listening or hate-listening. The only way to show your disapproval is to not listen at all.

Or at least Mazz. Felger is a douche but I don't think he believes the **** he spews. I think Mazz is legitimately as stupid as he sounds.
I think that makes Felger worse.

Abstaining from listening/watching to a particular show/segment is a tried and true way of reducing noise pollution caused by media airheads. Look at how the level of buffoonery reached new heights on WEEI with the Big Show and once Doochbag and Spazz arrived on the scence with a different perspective (and a stronger radio signal) people started to tune-out EEI.

It can happen but clearly the mass public would rather tune in as opposed to listen to NPR or music.

Here in NY it's WFAN. Francessa is BIGGEST DOOSH! I haven't listened to FAN since this whole set up on Brady & Pats. Only guy I would listen to is Joe Bignino who I've met and is a cool guy. Belichick Would tune in when he was on Jets getting in wee hrs in morning when Joe was doing over night show. Belichick actually goes on WFAN with Joe from time to time.

I haven't listened to them or even mentioned their names since the Wells report came out.

I like wers 88.9 Emerson College

This station is pretty good too. Louisville 91.9

The fact that any of my tax dollars go to NPR is disturbing.

Has anyone suggested the possibility that he didn't even mean to say "Deflate"? When I use my phone, it's always auto-correcting or if I use the voice dictation, it gets it wrong.

I know it's out there but let's assume that Green Bay just scored.

The text was
Deflate and give somebody that jkt

What if deflate was supposed to be something else? For instance, (after Green Bay scored).
"Deflated and Give somebody that jkt" (as in deflated because Green Bay scored)

Or

"Delegate and give somebody that jkt"

I'm just suggesting that as people harp on the "deflate" word, maybe someone should ask him if that's even what he meant to say. We've heard from the Patriots lawyers but did they get that "lose weight" from the guys or did they just introduce a rebuttal????

I don't know but I've had to apologize on more than one occasion for my texts because I didn't check them carefully. I'd like to hear what McNally has to say since we've heard from everyone but him about what the texts mean.

In context, deflated is the ONLY usage that makes ANY sense. McNally was sitting at home and Revis on the sideline certainly looked deflated.

if only somebody could get him for a 7 hr interview to ask him that question

Boston media outlets can be pretty ridiculous, but do any of them hold a torch to the New York Post?

Ok I'm dense and I don't get this. Can someone explain it to me?

The two guys pictured had nothing to do with the bombing. The Post took "2 suspects with backpacks" and chose two random people to identify as the bombers.
