I just became a Dolphin fan...

...

OK that feeling passed... Thanks though, Danny boy!

You sucked as a CBS analyst, but props go you on this, Danny.

But wait, this goes against the local media's angle of "not one significant QB has come to Brady's defense" rap. They point to the fact that mediocre to average QBs like Jeff Blake and Matt Leinhart have defended Brady, but big time QBs like Jim Kelly and Troy Aikman have skewered him.

BTW, Favre defended Brady too, but they ignore that.

Just for that Dan, I'm going to watch Ace Ventura Pet Detective tonight.

great joey harrington was on jim rome show on 5/15. you probably can find the segment on rome's website. yeah, another weak sauce QB, but he repeatedly said the whole thing is a 'big joke' and defended brady. he went on and on about how joke of a story this really was.

Another smart QB, like Big Ben that sees through all the BS and appreciates greatness as it should be instead spewing jealous non sense.

Thank you Dan for giving The GOAT his due...

So we've got Dan Marino, Brett Favre, Ben Roethlisberger, Drew Bledsoe, Jeff Blake, Matt Leinart, Joey Harrington and I believe Brad Johnson all supporting Brady.

IGNORE THAT! Jim Kelly and Troy Aikman say he's guilty!!!

Wait, but Kelly is a huge Bills supporter (division rival), and Brady's extended dynasty made everyone forget about Aikman's Cowboys dynasty...

IGNORE THAT! Goodell says guilty!!

Wish Peyton would defend him but I understand not wanting to get involved. Brady probably would do the same.

I wouldn't want the stink of P6 anywhere near Brady or the Pats.

Now Marino is another story. He's one of the best QBs I ever saw. He had a lightning quick release. Too bad he was saddled with Shula as a HC or he might have won a couple of SBs.

I appreciate the comments that Marino made, but I honestly wish some of these guys that have a national stage would read the Wells Report. Any simpleton would be able to rip this report apart instead of just assuming Brady did something and saying "...it's not a bid deal."

Aikman is a notorious Patriots hater. Zolak said the ONLY broadcast crew that doesn't meet with Belichick the week before they broadcast a Patriots game is Aikman and Buck. Every other one meets with Belichick. I don't know if it is Belichick refuses to meet with them or Aikman and Buck are the ones who refuse.

My guess is that the ESPN crew won't get much access this season. Gruden might because he did back up the Patriots saying that Deflategate was a joke, but I don't see anyone else getting access.

Namath STRONGLY defended Brady.

Saw more comments from Drew today. Man I tell ya this is the guy he lost his job to and now would have been the time to take even subtle shots at Tom if he chose to go that route. Just shows what we've seen time and time again Bledsoe is a soldier! If only these salty lames out there were half the man Drew is

I agree. Frankly, my opinion of Bledsoe has progressively grown more positive over time. I think he was significantly less gracious than largely portrayed when he lost his job to Brady. In all candor, I would have likely reacted the same way had I been in his shoes.

Right. He was a class act before that period and has been a class act since. And even when he was angry, he kept it under some kind of control. I don't recall anything he did to sabotage the team except plant the one article complaining of his treatment. Besides, he QBed half of a crucial game.

where is steve young during all of this? one of brady's biggest defenders...

Peyton's lack of support may have more to do with his own balls than "not wanting to get involved".
