Steeler fans will tell you how ethical, classy and football smart they are. EVERYTHING posted on the internet speaks otherwise. For "fun" (comic relief) I read a handful of Steeler message boards regularly.

has multiple conspiracy theories and hate filled posts about The New England Patriots. Almost every Steeler board has their pages FILLED with NEP dialogue. There's one pathetic mope that uses the Chargers anti-Pats gif as his avatar and posts on TGG (under a different username) because he can't get enough sad, sadistic support from his own kind on Steelerfury. Even Jets fans think this "truther", O'Leary book pimpin Squeeler fan is an idiot.

The best part about Steeler fans is the one sided-ness of it all. I mean, other than opening night, wgaf about the Steelers? lol.

Bronco fans are the worst (besides the Jets). I think they've surpassed Steelers fans as totally batshit crazy in the last year, and have gone full Jet fan.

After they signed Peyton, they went `all in` on the Peyton v Brady arguments. Just all in. It was weird because they didn't draft Peyton, so they were just desperate for some 21st century validation.

Anyway, after Peyton went down in flames against Indy, in the worst playoff game I can remember by a QB, and Tom beat the very defense that embarrassed them in the Superbowl the year before, winning ring #4, they've just gone off the rails. They're all about stories about the Pats jamming radio signals and saying to one another Brady isn't even a top 20 all time QB, "even though Peyton sucks too," and every regular season win by the Pats is the result of flat balls and nobody is better than Elway.

It's funny seeing what happens to fan bases when they want to put their big boy pants on and get in a rivalry with the Patriots. Just 3 years later and they're completely ****ing broken. Patriots have pushed them into a mental breakdown.

nailed it. I take great pleasure in reading certain boards. Not that I think ALL Steeler fans, or Jets Fans, or Bronco's fans, etc., are hate driven imbeciles, but the obsessive, delusional, misguided fans of said teams who post to their message boards for the most part, are. Very selective memories the sports fan message board posters have...

With the exception of the Jets thread here (which makes perfect sense, because it's the Jets - lolz) and a new one about the Sting Op Colts, I've never seen this message board become such a namby pamby wasteland of crying about another team.

It does make you appreciate that while folks on this board go off the rails every now and then, its tame compared to some of the other moronic fanbases out there.
