"37 points on the best defense in the league, suck my d*ck"

He likely never said this: this was something a Jets fan said he heard BB say to his son after a game. I never believed it, IIRC BB denied it, which is enough for me.

I believe it. The Jets had just acted like punks in beating the Pats in Foxboro in the playoffs and this was the first game IN New York since that happened with the Patriots coming off of a two game slide.

Why would BB confirm it? Also I looked it up and he pretty much just didn't comment on it.

On whether or not the Patriots game planned to target Anthony Smith after his victory guarantee for the Steelers.
"The safety play at that position was pretty inviting … We've played against a helluva' lot better safeties than him, I'll tell you that."

What is your response to comments made by those Carolina defenders that Moss shut it down?
"My response would be that's a lot of conversation coming from a team that just lost another game."

"I have a lot of respect for Randy, I think he's one of our best players. If you watch other teams defend him, watch other teams play against him, they think the same way -- other than these two guys from Carolina after they lost another game. I guess they don't think that way, but they haven't won a lot of games now."

OK you are right he didn't deny it:
Belichick was asked about it on WFAN this morning and said, “Any conversations I had privately I'll keep private.”

Still I don't buy it. Some jackoff Jets fan saying he overheard it? It just doesn't sound like something he would say.

You folks are putting too much trust in the NY Post, which was the only outlet that reported it.

In my top ten list it has to be something caught on mic, not a rumor spread by Jests.

On the league not being able to afford end zone cameras:

"We just spent, whatever it was, how many millions of dollars on the replay system,” Belichick said. “I mean, there’s a thousand cameras in every stadium, so that if somebody spills a beer on somebody, we have it on record, right? Maybe we could have a bake sale. Raise some money for the cameras. Do a car wash.”

I believe that quote was caught on camera with sound and the end part was bleeped out, this is why Revis called BB a jerk. Not sure where the vid is....

There are so many. "We're on to Cincinatti" isn't the best one but it will be among the most remembered quotes.

If it was the audio would have been all over. Pretty sure it was something "overheard" by a Jets fan.

But if you can produce audio, I will stand corrected.

We've played better safeties than him I'll tell you that.

All he does is talk. He's terrible, and you can print that. I was happy when he was in the game.

Can you believe we won the Super bowl against the Rams with this team?

Do you know who Wally Pipp is?

Can't believe the BB quote about Charley Casserly isn't in the top 3.

""Who's been wrong more than Charley Casserly"

Full text:
"Who's been wrong more than Charley Casserly since he left the Redskins? His percentage is like a meteorologist," Belichick said during his weekly spot on WEEI radio. "He has no relationship to this team. I'd say less than zero. Based on what? He's never at a practice, never at a game. ... At least he put his name on it, which is more than a lot of guys. But, like he usually is, he was 100 percent wrong."

It was very hard to do just 10 quotes as there where so many, some of you quoted some of my favorites also that I didn't include on my list. In the end, to pare it down, I included quotes that I've heard variations of over the years in multiple pressers.

Can't find the audio but I remember hearing it(unless I'm going mad). This snippet is from a PFT article mentioning it was caught on the mic.

Revis
said he respects Belichick because he respects anyone who wins in the NFL, but Revis also pointed to the game in November between the two teams, when microphones picked up Belichick mocking the Jets by saying, “Thirty-seven points on the best defense in the league, suck my d–k.” Revis didn’t find that amusing.

I'm enjoying yesterday's quote. about deflate-gate, "That was a long time ago, we're on to next year." I sure hope coach knows that next year is this year and deflate-gate was also this year. :)

"We're on to 2015."

I'm calling BS. If the audio existed, you would find it easily on the interwebs.

Actually my memory was correct. He responded:

Later, at his regular Monday news conference, Belichick said, “I don’t remember it that way. I don’t think we’re here to talk about that. If you want to talk about the game, great.”

I'm calling BS on this story, and people you should be wary of spreading rumors pushed by NY Post and Jest fans, about our great BB.
