Broncos LT Ryan Clady torn ACL

Tough break for the Broncos, they have only one returning starter on that O-line now. I wonder if this is the year that San Diego or KC actually over takes them in that division.

There goes any chance at a PS run....if any

Clady is an excellent player. Hate to see talent not playing but given recent events I admit I don't feel really bad if it's a Bronco, Colt, Raven or Jet. Best wishes for a full recovery in 2016.

Sorry, I used to feel sort of bad in these types of situations. Not anymore. I don't wish Ryan Clady any physical or emotional pain. But, I'm not sorry he's hurt. It helps my team. When Brady and Gronkowski were injured, fans of opposing teams didn't feel badly, in my opinion. On the contrary upon hearing of those injuries most of them ran to the nearest men's room to "run off a batch by hand", if you get my drift. Screw 'em...

Considering Deflategate, Spygate, and the Revis tampering, the Rats should suffer at least three serious injuries.

Wouldn't that suck if Revis went out for the year in the first game and the Rats had to eat the guaranteed bonus?

I was actually thinking more along the lines of a career-ender...

Manning was already literally falling on his *** trying to adjust to the new scheme and simply playing from under center. Now his left tackle is out for the year? That team's gonna have a rough go.

I don't believe The Forehead will get sacked any more than normal. Manning always get protected by the refs averting their eyes to allow for his offensive linemen to get away with blatant holding. I saw that for years when he played for the Colts, and it repeated itself when he joined the Broncos. The League does not want its favored son to suffer an injury from a sack, his offensive line knows this, thus the blatant holding goes on all game long. When they do call holding, it's usually after the game is well decided. It always pissed me off to hear the rationale for why so few holding penalties called on Manning's offensive line is because of his "quick release". I know the majority of you board members have seen the same thing I've seen all these years.

Man, Clady's had awful luck with offseason injuries. HGH really should be allowed for situations like this, IMO. Although given the recoveries of guys like Ray Lewis and Terrell Suggs, I'm sure that tons of guys use it anyway.

If Manning is on some kind of pitch count (and if last year wasn't a fluke, but is what can be expected to happen under that kind of workload...), this could be catastrophic for that offense. Their OL just isn't good, and Kubiak offenses require the OL to at least be pretty decent.
