Probably not a guy you want on the field 90% of the time, but definitely a good guy to have in a rotation.

A nice compliment to the signing of Spikes. All of a sudden, Hightower and Collins could be free to roam. That is an exciting prospect.

Always liked him. Nice to see him back in the fold.

Great depth in Front 7. Sheard, Grissom and Flowers at DE. Brown, Easley and Chris Jones at DT. I think Siliga and Branch will start. Spikes, Fletcher and Wells at LB. POWWW!

Depth signing at the faster LB spot. Always a fringe player; he was a binkie.
Really like the LB corps.

Nice to see them add two experienced linebackers. I wonder if Mayo will start the season
on PUP?

I used to believe this guy had a shot at starting for the Patriots, but he couldn't hold down his starting spot for the Bucs. Still a decent player. Not a liability vs the pass, good tackler and will play special teams.

My buddy spent all last week working out with Dane back here in montana.

He told me this was Danes plan. Glad to see it happened

Nothing not to like about this signing, at worse TC fodder at best a player who is well versed in the Pats system and can play several roles.

Don't remember calling him that before... oh well, new contract, new nickname!

Have happy memories (from maybe 5-ish years ago?) of him absolutely smothering Ray Rice in coverage, after a late-game defensive adjustment IIRC.
