Goodell must have been praying for something like that to not happen, let's see how it goes from here.

To be fair, he's probably not playing another down of professional football.

Let's see. He lost zero games for his domestic violence charge. He also got zero games for his sexual assault charge although the investigation by the league is still "on going" since December 16th of last year. I assume he will lose zero more games for this one. Good thing he didn't commit a real crime like more probable than not being generally aware of deflated footballs.

That is the real hypocrisy of Goodell. McDonald is monster who has repeatedly abused women without a single lost game from the League, but Goodell needs to show he is tough on offenders by going after Brady because he is "guilty" because he refused to give up his cell phone and couple texts that may or may not show that the Patriots deflated game balls possibly after or before the refs inspected them.

Don't know about that. He just signed a fancy new contract with the Bears. You know how Goodell hates to hurt a team's chances.

BTW, this is the fifth arrest for domestic violence for Ray McDonald. So far, the league has suspended him ZERO games.

Meanwhile, Brady has been suspended for four game for more probable than not being generally aware of the possibility that Jim McNally may have deflated footballs either before or after the refs inspected them.

He had or got jobs after the first four arrests. What makes the fifth arrest the deal breaker?

So far, he's been teflon McDonald. Must have graduated with a major in getting away with murder at Ray Lewis University. Suh is also alumni there....;)

Could actually favor Brady here.

Actually not. Because he's going to end up defending this ****, too.

Shocking development.

Apparently, McDonald beat his ex-fiancee while she was holding their child. Real winner right there.

The sad truth is most people don't care beyond a superficial vanity-raging level on social media.

If people did, Goodell would of been toast after the attempt by Baltimore and the league office to coverup the Ray Rice video. All it took to remedy that fiasco was screwing New England.

The only time 99% of football fans give a dusty **** about domestic abuse is if in the event one of the following is at play:
1. Domestic abuse can be made to make a rival fan base look bad.
2. Domestic abuse can be made by a rival fan base to make `us` look bad.

Media outrage over McDonald or Ray Rice beating the **** out of women: zero.

Media outrage over Tom maybe being generally aware that something could have happened, if something did happen, which isn't conclusive: Maximum.

In the words of Littlefinger, "Look around. We're all liars here."

Haha, it had to be a repeat offender who never faced punishment. Millions spent on an investigation into underinflated footballs, how many dollars spent on investigating all this guy's past transgressions?

More Goodell bumbling to come.

He's not such a nice guy, but at least he doesn't let air out of footballs. Thank God.

I believe that McDonald fully cooperated in his 4 prior domestic violence accusations, so the league refused to punish him. If he had been, say, 95% cooperative in the past, then he would have been suspended.

The sad news about all this (apart from the domestic violence itself of course) is that we are like a hungry dog waiting for any piece of food to be thrown at us. I don't think this helps Brady, it could, because it could be used as ammo although are different cases. If it doesn't help Brady, at least certainly it doesn't help Goodell at all, he doesn't need any other issue now that he was supposedly cleaning up his acts by destroying the evil Patriots.
