NFL continues to troll Tom Brady on twitter....this one is pretty low

Sadly, this is the world we live in at this moment: it doesn't matter if it's fair, it doesn't matter if there's proof, it doesn't matter if the people talking know what they're talking about, all that seems to matter is whether people have STRONG FEELINGS about the subject matter.

This is a cultural problem in this country that extends beyond relatively trivial matters such as sports. It really needs to stop. We really need to turn it around.

It won't happen. It'll get worse. This is who we are and it'll get progressively worse with each passing decade.

In the world of sports, once guys like Bradshaw and Jimmy Johnson and Howie Long retire, they'll be replaced by social media trolls who will `analyze` everything through their own hatreds and agendas.

Maybe this is a good wake up call for New Englanders because this is how politics has been for a long time.

And that same year, Brady's parents were married.

(ps and OT: anyone watching the story with Joe Namath and hyperbaric chambers? OMG, he looks and sounds like a new man - this is awesome if it holds up. Go look.)

Some race car drivers use hyperbaric chambers to recover more quickly.

Here is the facebook pic of the person hired to manage NFL's social media

Apparently it took this guy 5 years to graduate college. Not exactly a rocket scientist.

According to the NFL, head coaches "coincidentally" say "PSI" is needed to be a franchise QB.

Tony Kornheiser went off on this on Friday's PTI show. Said it really reflects very poorly on the NFL. Both he and Wilbon have also been very critical of Goodell and his handling of Deflategate.

I had the same initial reaction as Uncle Rico and then came to same conclusion: The 2014 America's Game hasn't been made yet.

…and it would not surprise if it is never made.

You may be right, but you picked the wrong people to quote.

From what?

If the track they race on is physical and they race back to back days. Typically a street circuit that's bumpy. Such as the doubleheader races they do in Indycar. It takes a toll on your body. One of the drivers I saw using it would sleep the night in a portable version of the chamber.

It is great how they mock and rip our team. I can't wait to see the look on everyone's face when they start measuring the balls at pregame, halftime and postgame during cold weather games so they can have the ideal gas law stuffed in their mouths every single time the pressure drops during halftime and rise up again an hour after the game, naturally. If Kraft won't help our team at least he can help indirectly by proposing rules that will allow psi measurements to be broadcast for all the world to see.

it's not just Brady....

when it comes to top 10 rosters in the league, they list the jets, bills, and dolphins but not the SB champs

tell me another one

based on the names they list, this is where I put the pats:
Blue Chips: Brady, Gronk, Vollmer, Solder, Edelman, Mccourty
On the rise: Ch Jones, Hightower, Collins, LaFell, Sheard

When the NFL realise the games between the "elite" Wilson and Kaepernick arent great for the business like a Brady vs _________ they will regret this.
I get the feeling they love Wilson, but not Kaepernik that much. He's a little too hip hop and a loose cannon, Christ he went so far as to wear unapproved headphones on the field. He also supported TFB, one of the few who did. Remember the non call on his receiver getting mugged in the Super Bowl, should have been him holding the Lombardi not Ray Lewis.

Let me get this straight -- THREE AFC East teams on this list, and not one is the defending Champs?

That Belichick guy must be REALLY REALLY good to scheme around such crappy talent.

I saw that as well.

Didn't want to start a new thread, but this story has a tie-in with the official NFL twitter account:

I don't know if everyone has been following the story of Tony Romo being involved with a Fantasy Football fan event that was scheduled to take place next month. The NFL stepped in an forced it to be changed from Las Vegas to LA. Romo appeared on a Dallas radio station today and expressed disappointment about the developments. After that appearance, the NFL twitter account sent out a since-deleted tweet reading "Hi Tony" with a picture of Romo.

I'm sure the NFL will say the Jets fan in charge had nothing to do with this either, but is there any oversight in the league's social media arm? Is it being run by petty, thin-skinned teenagers?
