Who would you give up...

I did not say Kraft was senile, simply time because of his in-actions to move On To Jonathan!

Do you think Jonathan would've handled things any differently than his father? I'm sure Jonathan knows a lot more about the facts than you do and if his father made the decision, i'm sure Jonathan supports him and talked to Robert Kraft throughout the whole process of coming to that decision.

I would give up 3 of the 4 Lombardi trophies just to have it publicly confirmed that Harbaby and Pagano and Grigson and Kensil and Anderson and Goodell and Pash and Irsay and Woody and how many others rigged this f###### deck so that the card game was one the New England Patriots could never win. I'll believe that forever.

Screw that!!! Keep the Lombardi's. We saw how hard it was before 2001 and since 2004. Never give those up. Never.

As long as you know the truth everyone else can suck on an egg.

Rob, I go way back to day 1 and my post was nothing more than a desperate, frustrating plea for justice. No team and fan base has taken a bigger undeserved screwing from its league, the public, the media and its commissioner than we have. I want vengeance, justifiable vengeance for getting screwed over for years.

If the Pats were going to trade away depth at any position to get CB talent, I guess the most likely candidates would be LB or OL. I don't think that's how they'll address the issue, though. I think we're going to see some combination of camp cuts and in-season trades (think Talib, Ayers).

Mayo the infamous resttructure then trade?
Nate Solder makes sense last year of contract and wants big money and has a agent that hasn't seen eye to eye with the Pats in the past.
So here goes one Nate Solder for Sean Smith and a pick.
Or Nate Solder for Jason Mccourty would be a frickon dream.
Twin power activate.

I hear you Jackson 2....

My Patriots allegiance goes back to the early 80s. Not as far back as you but painful and jubilent times nonetheless.

My belief is that by continuing to win and stocking the Pats HoF with Lombardis pisses off the establishment to no end. Sometimes winning when no one wants you to is the most savory of victories.

On a personal note: watching the Pats beat the Hawks with my 3 children awake when in 04 they were toddlers, infants or not even born yet was one of the happier moments of my life. I refuse to let a- holes like Goody and Kensil take that away from me.

Solder might well be the most likely one.

But, I don't know if the team necessarily sees the CB situation as such a dire thing.

You are sure. I don't know how you KNOW.
I do not know but am ready to let Jonathan have a go.

While it's entirely possible they agree, I would say that father and son not seeing eye to eye on something would not be strange at all. I would not be the least bit surprised if they disagreed.

I'm with you. Our granddaughter was born in 04 and we often tell our daughter that she brought a SB win and a World Series win into the world with her. 30 seconds after we beat the Seahawks,
our now 11 year-old granddaughter texted this to me from her Mom's phone: "Grampy, we won!" That text will never be deleted from my phone. I pick her up at the bus stop after school every Thursday and she said to me this past Thursday, "My friend Doug told me today that Tom Brady and the Patriots are cheaters." I played along and asked her, "What did you say to him?" She said, " I told him he didn't know what he was talking about and he needs to get his facts straight." I love that kid...

Not considering what the contracts look like (I'm not well versed in that)...just the age, talent and depth of position, I'd say Mayo, Ninkovich, Vollmer off of the top of my head. It would have to be a really good pick up to end up being a positive move for the team.

BB loves Nink I'd be shocked if he moved him.
I think Nink is going to retire a Patriot.

You seem sure that Kraft's decision didn't come from him knowing he was fighting a losing battle, which is based off of no facts. So why can I not be sure Jonathan supports kraft's decision?

That is what is most challenging...arming the kids with comprehendable info that they can refute the nonsense.

That's the part I hate the most..

You know someone is a teenager when they resort to the "senile old man" comments.
