Weren't the Colts generally aware of the supposed deflation scheme?

Since Brady is being punished for (more probably than not probably) being generally aware of some scheme to not deflate footballs, shouldn't the Colts also be punished, since they have PROVEN to have awareness of such a scheme? The email indicated they have known for a long time about such shenanigans yet did nothing to stop it. What about the INTEGRITY OF THE GAME??? They let the Patriots continue to not deflate footballs against other teams without reporting their concerns???

It is more probable than not they were generally aware of the scheme to not deflate footballs. Where is their punishment?!

think you're reachin' on this one

although, I've always said it's kind of odd all these teams knew about this competitive advantage all this time and said nothing about it

/facepalm

The colts gauged the intercepted football. That fact is clear as day and is a violation of league rules.

Colts equip guy measures ball.

Sullivan tells Grigson.

It was observed that Grigson yells at Kensil in the press box saying that they have a deflated ball. Bedard or King say this.

End of story.

Speaking of Indy, I watched the AFCCG again last night and a few things stuck out to me.
- One of the announcers said "it's game time." Someone should have told Indy.
- On the pregame show it was said that it's a different Indy team. No it wasn't.
- The rivalry continues was also a common theme with the mediots. What rivalry?
- Luck kept sailing his passes. It almost looked like Indy's footballs were over-inflated. How great is that?
- The announcers (Nants and Simms) were whining about the spot of a ball for the Pats even though replays showed Edelman made a nice play to get it closer.
- Blount Force Trauma
- Why are so many of the on-field commentators women?
- Hey Adam, nice try on the FG. You only missed by ten or so yards to the right.
- For a former NFL QB, Simms is pretty clueless on the eligible/ineligible play.
- Indy's defense looked like HS kids against the Pats. No wonder they went crying to the NFL.
- Nice try on the flop 97, but you looked more like a floundering seal than a player who had been hit.
- Did I really see John Kerry sitting with a sweater draped over his shoulders. God what a tool he is.
- More Blount Force Trauma.
- After the game I couldn't listen to Kraft's phony talk about how we're all Patriots. He chose the team he's for and it isn't the Pats.
- The Pats under B&B are simply the best, no matter how loud the crying gets.

What did you think of the bomb Brady threw to LaFell at 5min to go up 45-7?

I think that was a FU to the Colts as the Pats knew what was going on with the balls at that time.

I wish Kraft wasn't a ****y and would submit an official complaint.

The entire game was one big FU to Indy, wasn't it? I kind of enjoyed the way the Pats and Blount manhandled them more than I enjoyed the passing game, but it was all good. The only negative, as usual, was the coverage of the game.

Can you be more specific J2 about what you disliked about that post?

In a real court, evidence obtained by illegal means lead to cases being thrown out of court.

The one thing I remember about the game is the look on the Colts players faces during the national anthem. I remember thinking they looked scared or uptight.

There were a couple of pretty good shots of Andrew Luck whining. If he didn't have that beard he'd be a dead ringer for P6, complete with the dumb look on his face.

I also liked his classic near pick 6 to Mevis when he lobbed one over to the sideline. That was great too.

It's too bad that Belichick won't stick around long enough to torment Luck for more of his career. Maybe by then O'Brien will have a powerhouse down in Houston and keep the Suck for Luck crowd at home during the playoffs.

We really struggled to run against Baltimore and Seattle. Yet, we ran the ball down their throats like Oklahoma does to Kansas. Shows how soft they truly are. And, they draft a 5'10" 175lb WR. Yeah, that will help
