Come the F on... Kraft to Larry King: I hope I helped Tom Brady's appeal.

Exactly. The Wells report showed that Brady did nothing wrong, so why the heck should he accept any penalty at all? For the good of who, Kraft?

My only concern is that this battle is being fought for him by the NFLPA. I don't have much faith in them. They're the ones that bungled the agreement that gave Goody and the Jets the power to pull off this stunt.
Kessler is representing Brady. That's the equivilent of having Mike Trout on your wiffle ball team.

Isn't it obvious that Kraft is not on Brady's side in this fight? Didn't he just tell us all that?
He's in a spot. He is on the owner's and commissioners side but wants Brady's suspension overturned.

How about this dream sequence question?

Let's say that Brady gets upset and asks the Pats for a trade to the 49ers. Would you root for the Garropolo/Pats or the Brady/49ers if they met in the 50th SB next year?

Right now I'd be thinking about putting on the scarlet and gold, or whatever they call their colors.

If you're talking about the wiffle ball with the holes on one side, nobody could touch my pitching until I hurt my arm throwing a golf ball to someone quite a few years ago. What a stupid mistake.

IMHO, the NFL is playing with a stacked deck that was provided to them by the NFLPA. I'll believe in Kessler if he gets Brady's penalty dropped to zero. Nothing happened.

Hmm. In 1989, the Gretzky-less Olilers played the Gretzky-led Kings in the Stanley Cup playoffs. I was big into the NHL back then and remember Oiler fans were about 50/50. They had a lot of hate for Poklington.

In 1990 it all went away when they won the cup.

Senility is a real possibility.

I'd give that possibility more credence if I'd ever heard a story suggesting memory loss. Memory goes before brains ...

... unless, of course, you're as stupid as Ronald Reagan to begin with ...

I think kraft was bundled away at the owners meeting, Goodell and the 31 planted a mind control chip in bobs brain. Either that or this is a bob kraft double making all these ridiculous comments.

Me too. I had a Dan Quisenberry-type pitching delivery. Growing up we played every day. Our games we always 2-1, 1-0. I had heat and so much movement....unhittable.;)

In college people *****ed b/c they could touch me. My nickname was Quiz. In the winter of 1993 I dislocated my shoulder skiing. I then became the Bob Stanley of wiffle ball. Awful...

Glory Days....:D

I agree the NFL does have a major advantage here but that report is so terrible and how the league handled it can be exposed..

just curious - aren't jews known for being very stubborn? i really can't relate because i don't personally know many jewish people.
I didn't know Roger Goodell was Jewish.

Sorry rob, but even Krafty Bob doesn't get to stand with each side during a battle. I stand with Brady and he chose the other side. I also don't buy for a minute that he hopes his side loses vs Brady. What poppycock.

He's not a lawyer either. He is the son of a politician though, and that got him a nice cushy sports job at 50 mil a year, thanks mostly to his biggest fan, Bob Kraft.

I knew Irishmen are drunks. (Hey, I'm Irish, it's allowed.)
I suspect Jewish people likely don't want to know you, either.
First I heard of stubborn Jews. I thought they were as cheap as Scottsmen. (Hey, I'm an American mutt - it is allowed.)

Well, clearly Bob chose Goody because he - among other reasons believes that the comissioner's powers should not be undermined. By applying that position to Brady v. NFL, he is on the league's side no question. If TB wins, that would mean that Goody's authority has been weakened.

Bob is also on record as saying TB has his complete support. Does thatean he wants TBs suspension overturned? Yes but I think he wants the best of both worlds. What that is i m not sure anymore.

My wife is Jewish and is generous and open minded.

I'm Catholic, am stubborn and frugal. I almost converted to Judism but my wife said don't bother. She had zero interest in going to temple anymore. :)

Glory days indeed rob. I had a guy get pretty pissed at a cookout. I guess he was a good baseball player, but that isn't wiffle ball now, is it?

I had a pitch that was sidearm but not to Quisenberry's level. If I threw it with the holes down to the right, the correct hand angle and if I stopped my arm suddenly at release, the ball would start like a fastball coming in on a right-hander and end up like a super soft change up curve. By the time batters swung the ball would be feet outside their bat. The only chance was to let it go, but many couldn't resist

I actually stayed away from the Framegate stuff, even before the SB when it was called Deflategate. I still haven't come down from our incredible win in the SB. Maybe that's because I didn't fill my head with all the nonsense.

It's difficult to stay with it all. I guess that's why the media has so much influence on people. I run into some folks who are really nothing more than mocking birds for the media's agenda. I used to call it amazing but now I'm used to it.

Leave the politics crap where it belongs.

I'm sure there are better examples you can use than one that will stir up the masses.

Most of the Jewish folks that I have met over the years were intelligent and successful, more than any other nationality. It has always made me wonder what the world may have missed out on when Hitler tried to wipe them out. Who knows what great breakthrough in science or medicine might have been accomplished without that horrible atrocity?

Yep on the holes facing down. If I had my pinkie underneath is rose. If I had the holes facing to the front it was a change-up/sinker. If I angled the holes slightly inside it stayed flat but busted inside on righties. So much fun.

Yep.

My wife's grandfather was a medic and landed June 7th of 1944. In the Battle of the Bulge the found a critically wounded SS officer. Another medic (smart ass from Brooklyn) told him that they could save his life if he had a blood transfusion from my gdad in law. Once the SS guy saw his star of David with his dog tags he refused. Died an hr later. That story still blows me away.
