Come the F on... Kraft to Larry King: I hope I helped Tom Brady's appeal.

Well thankfully since Goodell is going to be a stubborn idiot Brady will take his case to court so noone can say Kraft brokered a deal for him.

Wouldnt be surprised if kraft has asked brady to hand over his phone to goodell during the aribtration and that was his deal with goodell. The fact that goodell said that he would like to speak to brady and hear any new information "so we can get this right" supports this theory. We dont know if brady has accepted this backhanded deal.

I understand why most fans actually want Goodell to uphold his ruling during the appeals process, in the hopes that Brady et al will take the case further to federal court and gain a 3rd party arbitrator, but I'd be fine with getting the suspension reduced or taken away altogether now so that we can all move forward.

I don't know if that includes turning over any relevant info on his phone or not, but there are obviously some unanswered questions that Wells jumped to conclusion over. If it's possible that Brady can help to clear any of this up, all the better.

No way I want brady to accept a reduced sentence. We may move forward but his legacy will be forever tarnished if he accepts any penalty without fighting it further.

Not just his legacy, but the team's reputation and reproductive abilities. Can't !@#$ the 'best' team in the Super Bowl and birth more trophies if Brady allows the NFL to take their nuts . Kraft allowed Goodell to turn him into an eunuch in 2007 and it only made things worse now. This punishment will have repercussions down the road, if it stands. You may not believe that, but would you have believed camereaplacementgate would have repercussions now before the AFC championship game? Vincent used it as a reason to punish the Patriots worse than any team ever.

I think Kraft is fully delusional. If he thinks that he helped Brady, he must think that his escort really likes him for his looks and personality. It is definitely time for Jonathan to takeover the team before the next Mrs. Kraft get control.

Kraft: The man who fell completely out of touch with his fan base, and continues to drift away even further.

After issuing a defiant statement demanding an apology from the league and a website that torpedoed the NFL, Kraft jumps aboard the NFL ship, gets skewered by his fan base, and announces he did it for Tom. This is simply the act of a coward trying to appease both sides. Here's hoping Brady et al. finish them off and Kraft goes to the bottom with his cronies.

It is a good weekend to remember that true Patriots recognized there comes a time when the abuse of power must be resisted.

I don't know what kind of advice Kraft is getting but it sure isn't helping him in the PR department. Poor Stacey James, probably on his 4th box of Maalox and Nexium....

If you are judged by the company you keep, let's look at the 32 owners....
One is found civilly liable for fraud for $84.5 million, another has his trucking company convicted for ripping off truckers for their rebates and a third is arrested for DWI with $29K cash in a suitcase and has a substance abuse program...That's 3/32 or nearly 10% of the ownership of the league.....Yeah Bob, those are the guys you should support versus your QB and team......NOT
Not to mention the serial tamperer and the owner who was photographed in compromising positions with ex-strippers in a hotel room.....

Exactly. The Wells report showed that Brady did nothing wrong, so why the heck should he accept any penalty at all? For the good of who, Kraft?

My only concern is that this battle is being fought for him by the NFLPA. I don't have much faith in them. They're the ones that bungled the agreement that gave Goody and the Jets the power to pull off this stunt.

Isn't it obvious that Kraft is not on Brady's side in this fight? Didn't he just tell us all that?
