Guess that didn't work.

Didn't figure it would, but maybe if enough folks did somebody would take note of it.

Like they say "nothing ventured, nothing gained." No harm in trying, I suppose.

Got a form response back about an hour ago:

Haha I got the same response. Perfect example of how tone deaf and ridiculous auto-responses based on keywords can be.

I agree. Just found it ironic that the response was they support the NFL.
Most likely an automated email after it scanned NFL in yours.

I sent one off the day after the "Announcement" and have not heard back from them.

I am extremely torn on this one. I'm 41 and go back to the early 80s with this team. Been through good times, bad times, and dynastic periods. I had season tickets in 223 (old stadium) & 313 in the Gillette from 92-11. My 10 year old son has been BEGGING me to take him to a game. I definitely want him to see Tom Brady play and I figured the opener would be awesome with the fireworks, pomp & circumstance, etc - what a way to experience your first game. In this day & age, I'd say most little kids really aren't into "our" teams the way I was when I was little - but my son loves the Patriots. Most of the kids at school have a passing interest, but he's pretty well into it.

I promised him I would take him to a game (and was going to surprise him with the opener - I knew I'd pay a big premium, but luckily and through the Grace of God I can afford it). My son loves the Pats, we watch every non-night game together - it's an amazing thing to have with your son. I had it with my father, who recently lost a long battle w cancer. Christ, we were going to sprinkle some of his ashes on the spot Vinatieri made his kick!

But then the NFL's sanctions came out. And then Kraft turtled, sold out his team, fans, and quarterback and took a stiff Goodell in the arse...Baghdad Bob sold out his team and a portion of the future of his team for the "good of the 32."

Damn, I promised my son a Pats game and I know I'll be paying through the nose - but I just don't know if I can say no to my kiddo, even though I know I should not set foot anywhere near Jonathan City....

I am in the exact same predicament with my 11 year old. Only difference is I am still a season ticket holder and already wrote that check to Bob in March.

I said so much in another thread and was read the riot act by bella*chick and someone else.

It's easy for people to claim "no money to Kraft" but I'm doubting any of them have season tickets they are willing to give up over this. Especially this season, where they are already bought and paid for.

My conscience is clear because I have cancelled NFL network and sent a few emails to sponsors showing my distaste for the nfl and anything associated. I will park offsite and tailgate. No concessions. I will cheer for my team and their banner and their coach.. I will boo the owner with a ferocity.

I WILL NOT let down my 11 year old son, or his 1 year old brother who will someday come with us to games.
My only regret about taking him to this game is that he might enjoy it less with this cloud now hanging over our team.... but that is out of my control.

Of course, I could always just offer my son a new video game system instead and sell you my tickets at an enormous profit :D. Just kidding, the memories are worth more than money to me.

Next step: if someone's able to collect a list of the various sponsors affiliated with the Patriots, that would be pretty excellent. Gillette is the obvious one, already decided I've bought my last razor from them. Dollar Shave Club and Harry's (https://www.harrys.com/) are better anyway, only reason I was still using Gillette is cause of the Pats.

Grow a beard, you pansy. ;)

Already have one! Gotta handle the neckbeard though, nobody wants those

Yeah, I was just messing about. I have one too and agree on the neckbeard. I joined Dollar Shave over a year ago. Not the best quality blades but if you're only worrying about the high cheeks and the neckbeard, they work just fine.

Yeah, Dollar Shave Club is okay. Not the best or anything, but considering how much cheaper it is than Gillette no complaints. I prefer Harry's, if you haven't tried them I would definitely recommend it. If you use the CRACKED coupon code you can get the full Truman set for like $10. At that price even if you end up not liking them they're still a good deal.

reading your guys`comment made me laugh so hard. you like a bunch of little girls.

of corse i am fking kidding.

Kraft broke a sacred bond in millions famlies. He turned our joy into shame.

i want to pull his hair and bittcch slap him

Other corporate sponsors for NE are EMC2, Bank of America, Verizon, NRG Energy and MEMIC (worker's comp insurance). Looks like Gillette is the likely candidate to feel any boycott pinch - or least bad publicity.

I think people switching cell phone carriers (from Verizon) could have a pretty big impact if they tell the customer service rep why they are switching. As with cable companies, these reps and their bosses are trained to hold onto existing customers almost literally like their lives depend on it. Pretty sure somebody within the Kraft empire, if not Benedict himself, would hear about this pretty quickly if enough people did it.

I bought my last set of Gillette razors a week or so ago. I'll figure it out.

BoA should have been boycotted a long time ago; join a credit union. I recommend Navy Federal if you or your family are military. Lights years better than any bank.

The others aren't too hard to avoid.

I'm not sure I'll be able to watch to many games without some effort, so I'm probably just less likely to put the effort in. Then again, I want to support Tom ****ing Brady through his time here. I don't mind if I inadvertently put a few bucks in Kraft's pocket doing that. When TFB retires and most of us beat feet, he'll have a better understanding that Brady and BB are what made all of this special, and that his betrayal is the reason for his upcoming misfortunes.

In my defense, you didn't mention memories with your excited children in that post. You just said Kraft will be getting money anyway so might as well go to the games because someone else will just go in your place. And I just said that's not exactly the rallying cry for people who want to take action and have their voices heard. It just feeds into the feeling of being a helpless pawn to the NFL behemoth and I can't stand that feeling.

But if you have already paid, I agree you should hang onto the tickets. You could even make a sign or something voicing your displeasure with everything that has gone down. That's actually a good way to be heard. Make a great sign and get on camera.

Easy, don't watch the NFL. Yeah, we support Brady and Belichick but the team is Kraft's. If Brady is innocent I don't see how he could continue to work for the employer that was complicit in his unjust punishment.

If Brady gets porked I wont watch any games I boycotted hockey and stayed away for over 10 years, missed it at first but got over it, was freeing actually.

How many of us like me spent dozens of hours typing up alternative theories for the ball deflation when even Pats fans thought Brady must have cheated the first week? And it turns out the Patriots lawyers emailed the same alternative theories to Ted Wells back in March but weren't allowed to share until Wells completed the report.

And Kraft's response? "We will not appeal even though we already paid our lawyers millions of dollars to do all the defense." But who paid me and the other fans? Were any fans even thanked for doing all the research and defending the team?

I support the team, but why should I support the brand if the owner doesn't want to defend it? I created another thread where we get thick-skinned and wear "4x Cheaters" t-shirts as a big f-u to the league, the media, and other teams fans. It's no secret the team is getting a new logo on the team jerseys in 2015, and Kraft leaked that it is "Cheaters".

Best of all, the NFL would not get a dime and it would say to everyone else, "we know you're jealous but we don't care. Call us what you want."
