I think it's a pretty good résumé on how I'm feeling right now. There's a link to share the letter on Tweeter and Facebook. Maybe if it goes around a bit, it could change some things (I'm hopelessly delusional).

I just can't believe that this story got bigger than the Lisa Olson scandal...you know, an actual scandal.
And even if it was totally wrong, Victor Kiam actually defended the team and the players...not that is was the right thing to do, of course, but I would have liked to see Robert Kraft showing the same kind of fight, for a right cause this time around.

bump.... good thread

Like the letter. Sums up my thoughts pretty well.

Great letter!

Great letter! The only thing it's missing is "integrity". We hear that slimy piece of **** hypocrite commissioner blurt it out all the time. Isn't that the most important thing? According to the NFL? Shouldn't the commish actually have integrity? Wouldn't that be in the best interest of the 32 to protect the shield and integrity of the game by having a league office that has some sort of semblance of integrity?

I'll be honest. I'm completely conflicted.

I have the utmost respect and gratitude for everything that Mr Kraft has done for the team and for the way he has always insisted that players and the organization should recognize wider responsibilities. It wouldn't have been dishonorable, I think, to fold his hand in the face of the overwhelming force ranged against the Patriots. And I accept that it is his decision, not mine -- he's the owner, I'm a fan.

But to stop speaking out against the injustice and so to accept the assault on the integrity of his team and the greatest player in Patriots' history ... that's hard, hard, hard to stomach.
