NFL rejected NFLPA Motion that Roger recuse himself from appeal, per source.

Good. Now this can go to court and we can find out what Kensil's and Goodell's personal phones has to say in discovery.

I wish Brady could just skip the appeal to Goodell. Goodell is just going to reject it or make some tiny concession and then grandstand about how no player is above the integrity of the game for the next three months. I believe, though, that Tom needs to exhaust internal options before going to court.

Good. Better for Brady, his lawyers and the NFLPA.

Goodell's public lies -- e.g. what Curran calls him out on as per another thread -- ordinarily wouldn't have much legal significance. But anything that impeaches his credibility could be useful in the NFLPA's court case.

Goodell has all but said I have an agenda and nobody can stop me from achieving it. Unfortunelty our ****y of an owner would rather suck 31 other ****s than stand up for his franchise.

Interesting that Kraft is so intent on doing what is best for the NFL while the NFL is so intent on doing everything possible to destroy his team.

Goodell dug a hole for himself so deep he can't get out. If he lets an independent arbitrator take on the appeal, the Wells report will be shred and revealed the sham it is. If he refuses and makes himself the arbitrator, the NFLPA sues and goes to court where the Wells report gets torn to shreds and revealed the sham it is.

Millions upon millions were spent for this Wells "investigation". Goodell in a no win situation. Goodell brought it upon himself. To court Brady goes and to the unemployment line Goodell goes.

Is this realistically going to happen? Because I really hope so.

Goddell is just a total ass and so full of himself!!! I hope he truly believes Brady will back down, but Brady doesn't and I hope Goddell gets hung out to dry in this whole mess!

the two of them likely have 7 phones each and 6 of them are at the bottom of the ocean.

I hope you are correct.

This is great news for Tom Brady. Dimwit Commissioner will uphold the suspension. Brady files suit. An arbitrator is going to throw the suspension out in 2 1/2 minutes. Maybe, less.
