2) Tom Brady, New England Patriots

Let's hope all that Deflategate crap doesn't inspire mass misevaluation of the kind of player Brady's been. Forget the four Super Bowl wins for a moment. Forget the fact he's led the Patriots to the playoffs in 12 of his 13 seasons as a starter. Forget the MVP awards. What sticks out most is his ability to lift the play of those around him. If you'd been able to convince someone two years ago that New England would win the Super Bowl with Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola and Brandon LaFell at wide receiver, that person might have also believed text messages containing the phrase "dorito dink" would one day become quite famous. Most impressive to these eyes is what Brady was able to do from Week 6 on last season when it counted -- in the fourth quarter. Starting with that week's 37-22 win over the Bills and stretching through Super Bowl XLIX, Brady threw 10 touchdowns, one interception and compiled an insane 127.0 passer rating during pro football's most important stanza. Oh, and after those balls were re-inflated in the AFC Championship Game, he went 12 for 14 with two scores. OK.

Harrison usually annoys me so it's good to see this. Thanks.

(Maybe when Rodgers stops playing at 16 psi he'll dip a few spots …)

weak attempt at a makeup for
1) other qb list with a *
2) #wildplaywednesday
3) psi tweet w/ andrew luck
4) tweet that used namath image to take a shot at brady

Why is it so popular to say Rodgers is the best or most talented QB in the league these days? That's up there with people saying luck's hof career will start any day now. Rodgers needs more than one championship to his name.

Weak attempt? He posted this on May 18th. Sucky Brooks posted his QB list on May 19th. The PSI tweet was also after Harrison posted this. As for the other two things it's just asinine to think he put Brady at #2 to makeup for some ****ty Troy Vincent tweet and some gimmick tweet.

I think Rodgers' talent level is undeniable, but his production has pretty much all regular season except for one championship run. Right now I can't blame someone for going Rodgers-Brady at one and two, simply because I do think Rodgers is quite good, but eventually you've gotta do something with it. If a few years from now he's still only won 1 ring, he will probably be downgraded to Peyton Manning level: darn good QB for a long time, but only one ring.

For the love of God, can we PLEASE stop posting anything from ESPN, Bogus, and NFL network. They want both anti patriot and patriot clicks. DONT GIVE IT TO THEM.

I think he is the most talented QB in the league--he's just flat-out the best combination of arm/athleticism/strength in the league imo. Is he the best though? I'm taking Brady every day of the week and twice on football Sunday's. Rodgers has puked on himself too many times in important games; he's FANTASTIC and even when he's not at his best he's better than most QB's in the NFL. But Brady is more steady in the playoffs and consistently comes up big when they most need it.

Anyway, glad to see one list that doesn't at least have an asterisk :)

My mistake, I did not click on link so I was unaware of the posted date. I was talking about nfl.com internet properties in general and not the author specifically for the recent brady bashing.

To my eyes Brady is by far the best quarterback in the league as far as mechanics and the mental part of the game, and is vastly underrated by many in terms of throwing ability (the old "dink and dunk" crap). Rodgers' ability to throw accurately and with power on the run is incredible; but yes, too many blown opportunities over too long a period of time.

Rogers reg season winning % .680, Brady .774. Brady >>>>> Rogers in the reg season.

Playoffs no comparison, Brady GOAT, Rogers barely over .500 (6-5).

No Way is Rogers in the same conversation with Brady.

FYI, There were two other top 10 QB lists that came out before Bucky Brooks's top 10 QB list with the asterisk. I'm not sure there's an attempt at a makeup here.

forgive me, i have been avoiding nfl.com, all i see from them is what's posted here.

Like the pasted paragraph. Glad I didn't have to click the link to the corrupt organization's website that I am boycotting.
