Would it take guts to appease the fans?

Legit question. Am I the only one who feels like this entire situation has spoiled the start of football for me? I mean im here with you guys venting like the rest but have zero desire that TC is going to be starting up.

Its spoiled everything but 3 1/2 hours on 19 Sundays from Sept to Feb for me. When the game is being played, this crap is irrelevant.
It will end up making me a fan during games, who can't be interested in anything outside the white lines.
The Patriot organization is dead to me, and if it wasn't for Brady and BB I would consider finding a new team, but ultimately what they do on the field will matter more than the despicable people that are running the team.

Mark my words... on day it's going to come out that the league office set this up and there's going to be a transcript of some type to back it up. Someone will blow the whistle. It may not be for years and years but it will happen. And, when it does, we can pretty much rest assured that Kraft more than likely knew about it and still rolled over like a dead dog.

Agree with you 100%, except there is NFW I could ever root for anyone but the Pats (been a fan from day freaking one). Sound off, watch the game... Kraft would need to 180 degree his position, and not waver for another f'n second for me to get drawn back in to anything beyond the game itself. While it took Kraft 9 patient years to get his opportunity to buy the team, he's already wasted 8+ years taking Goodell's crap. Enough already.

Kraft is going to do a 180, because now it doesn't matter. He forfeited the right to do the right thing when the appeal window closed, so now since he can't fight he is going to say he should have in order to get the fans back. I guarantee it.

It hasn't spoiled the season for me. I'll still follow to watch the product on the field. What this situation has done, for me, is that I will continue to follow closely until BB and Brady are gone. When that happens, I'll follow college football much, MUCH more closely (and I already follow it pretty closely) and I'll follow the NFL more for the social aspect of it. I'll use it as a means to get together with friends and eat and drink, much like the NBA and the NHL. Outside of that, the money that I spend on league clothing and other items and games will vastly decrease to the point where a dollar of my money won't go to it.

Talk is cheap, he will need to demonstrate by his actions, enough rhetoric already..but, I agree that a PR stunt is on the way. Looking for some truth and honor, and no more BS. I'm an old guy, should have lost my idealism years ago. Alas, I'm stuck with it....:)

That paragon of virute. College football. Entice barely literate players with; cash, cars, sex, etc. You name it. Fraudently push them thru college with an incredible amount of tutor help. Little Johnny tears his knee and will be able to re-hab and play the school he always dreamed of. But, because it will take time. Great men like Saban and Myers tell them they will remove them from the team because they need the space for an incoming hot-shot recruit. Yup. Truth, justice and college football!!! Yee ha!!!

Never said college football had clean hands either. The NCAA right now is more corrupt than the NFL front office is. There are two key words in that last sentence... I'll let you guess what those are.

100% truth, sad, innit? Like Vito Corleone once said," look at what they've done to my boy"! Sports are supposed to be noble competition, look at what we've turned it into. I know I long for the sandlots, playing ball from dawn to dark, just for the fun and competition.

Best times of my life playing sandlot football and much later getting corporate inter-organizational football games disallowed in 3 different companies. So many days missed from game injuries. :)

That's about where I am. I'll follow the games while Brady and BB are still here. After that, **** Kraft. He's not getting a dime from me. I'm still on the wait list on the off chance I get tickets to see Brady and BB on the regular during these autumn years, but should they go before I get my tickets I'm cancelling and should I have tickets, I'll not renew.

I hardly enjoy talking Patriots now...

It's a bit like the end of a relationship where you're kinda going through the motions until you finally dump the girl.

What are the odds that the court will get to dig into these emails that will prove the league conspired against us? You'd have to think the picks would come back in that scenario...

Crazy to think that the NBA isn't the least credible league anymore.

How can he demonstrate it? Do you expect we will more investigations that we cheated so he will have a second third chance to fight for the integrity of the team?

Give me a goddamn break. I can already tell that by training camp this entire forum will be filled with dimwits ballwashing Kraft since everyone else will have left in disgust by then.

so you'll be leaving then, correct?

That's an excellent analogy. How are you, my friend? How's military life treating you?

He's not going to do what I want him to, Andy. He would have to have a PC, call Goodell the piece of **** that he is, and explain why Goodell is the POS that he is. He would basically have to go against the 32, and tell the damn, but refreshing truth, for a freaking change. Will never happen.... (But I also never expected the integrity filled NFL would become the joke and travesty it's become)...
