You're right. I wouldn't want this to become a distraction for the team...but if it's gonna keep us from having to deal with hostile elements of the NFL, then I don't see what else they could do to protect themselves.

There will be Patriot specific rules instituted into the NFL. For example, the Pats only get 3 downs instead of 4, or offsides is a 10 yard penalty for the Pats vs the standard 5 yards...I mean if you think about it, we are already bring investigated for things other teams are simply forgiven and given penalties substantially greater than other teams for similar offenses...we are really just 1 step away from this!

None of us know what happened. My only problem with that theory is that Brady doesn't know what type of ball he is getting in the most important game of the year. He approves the ball. Hopes, The Deflator takes just enough pressure out to make it right. Seems like he's relying a lot more on the deflator than he should.

Just a theory. But, I believe we routinely turn in balls under 12.5 Let's say 12.1 or 12.2. Hope the ref that day just approves them. What happens when the refs put air in them? We know TB12 was really pissed after the NYJ game. Rightfully, so. Does McNally just try to take air out if the ref puts some in? Would TB12 even know that? Or, is The Deflator just trying to win approval from someone whom he idolizes??
He doesn't want to hear it after the game if the balls are too high.

Late 2000's - Pats continue winning and the whiny *****es continue coming after them.
2010+ - Pats contine winning and the whiny *****es continue coming after them (Ravens/Colts etc.)

complicent in what? taking some air out of the f--king football? give me a break. at best thats a 10.000 fine for any other qb in the league. i dont care if he did it or not. i care about the fact that the nfl has one set of rules for 31 teams and another for the patriots. i care that rodger gooddell make decisions based on public opinion and political correctness. the entire league is garbage. they are a bunch of hypocrits and liars. spare me about emails ect ect like he was invloved in some kind of serious event. we are talking about a minor rules violation.

where does it say brady wants the balls below 12.5 psi and to do it after the refs check them.

the balls need to be adjusted because the refs are overinflating them. why do you think brady had to give the refs the rule book ?

Show me one fact that proves the Pats balls were under acceptable league PSI after the ideal gas law is taken into account and if you believe that TB12 was implicit then LUCK must also be implicit because 3 of their 4 balls measured were also below 12.5 PSI. There is no confirmation that there are any texts about illegally deflating balls.

This will not be a distraction because of why all this comes about.

The reality is this is all about Bill Belichick.

In a "parity" driven league you simply can't have some guy who is absolutely superior in every aspect to the 31 clown cars pretending to be football franchises. As Yee said, "There is jealous and then there is NFL jealous."

Throw in the fact he detests the media and treats them like dirt and you have the a double whammy.

Ever notice you never see Brady on any opening promo crap like Sunday Night Football? Barely does interviews? Belichick skipping coaches breakfast?
