"Bills defensive tackle Marcell Dareus will miss the season opener against the Colts.

The NFL announced today that Dareus has been suspended without pay for the first game of the regular season for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy. Dareus can participate in the offseason and preseason, but he won’t be able to practice or play during Week One."

He was caught red handed. Their is no doubt about that. He is suspended for 1 game for breaking a Federal law yet Tom gets 4 games for "probably" 1 PSI? WTF

Just the league trying to soften up the Colts' schedule some more. Really wouldn't be fair if their run game was forced to go against a good defense. Nothing to see here.

Kraft is willing to be the League's Whipping Boy as long as his wallet remains fat and he remains popular with the other owners in the "32." That 1m dollar fine is a pittance in comparison to the profits he rakes in yearly as owner of the Patriots franchise. He doesn't give a damn what the fans think of him when it might interfere with his bottom line profit margins.

So the revisionist history to rebuild Bob Kraft's image begins.

Deflategate starts........Fans become critical that Kraft isn't backing Bill, Tom and the team......here comes Bob full of piss and vinegar. Wells report comes out and Bob immediately caves.........fans get pissed that Bob is taking it lying down............Context report comes out Bob starts fighting...........Owner's meeting comes and the 31 plus Fraudger let Bob know what a bad boy he's been, Bob caves, fans are pissed but Bob has no more appeasement moves left.

Bob has stutter-stepped at every junction trying to be everything to everybody and thus failing to be anything but a failure. He'll never get that the other 31 are laughing at him. The rest of the country hate him and his team. So now his legacy in this region is shot. He's alienated his biggest supporters. And for what? The league will treat him no better the next time around. He hasn't built bridges as the media would now like to portray it. He's appeased his way into losing the war.

Henry Clay, Neville Chamberlain and Bob Kraft. Who are three losers through appeasement Alex.

The best thing Kraft has going for him is that 4 years from now when Belichick and Brady are gone, he'll be back to having a middle-of-the-pack team that isn't relevant enough for the rest of the league to bother sabotaging.

Do you really think if an 0-16 team did that they wouldn't receive the same punishment?

I don't think so. The league aren't trying to maintain parity by knocking top teams off of their perch!!

Neither Spygate or Deflategate are league conspiracies.

You contradict yourself. If the other teams in the league are using the front office to attack a dominant team that is, by definition, a conspiracy.
