Bruschi: “I’d like to see [Brady] exhibit that fight that all of us wanted Mr. Kraft to have.

Maybe he'll get together a billion dollars and do it.

Money and strength of character are not mutually exclusive..... Kraft has one in abundance...but in the other, he has been a disappointment

I'm sure the Kraft-swabs hate Bruschi for saying what everybody on this board has been saying all along Kraft chose the 31 and the money.

As i understand it, those 32 are the only people on the planet who can vote to remove Goodell, no?

I can only imagine that if Myra were still alive she would've told Robert to do what is right, not what is popular. She seemed like a good woman that guided Robert on a lot of things.

LOL they love Goodell. He took care of the concussion case and has twice crippled the Pats. He takes care of the Anti Patriot teams like the Jets, Ravens and Colts regularly. Goodell won and Kraft and Patriots nation lost huge. It's over.

I want goodell removed. do you?

Obviously but that has nothing to do with. You and I have been around these boards for years. I'd consider you a homer and so was I. My negative posts about players or the franchise before this could probably be counted on one hand. But is there a bigger homer than Bruschi? He's telling you Kraft quit. Maybe you need Willie and a few others or you'll never come around but Kraft quit. Goodell isn't going anywhere. He's won. You want more confirmation? Tony Kornheiser agrees with you that the end game is Kraft back dooring Fraudger. It isn't happening.

He said, though, he's speaking from the point of view of a player. I couldn't be more pissed at the situation and Kraft made a mistytake treating this slug like a human being and doing hid work for him.

However, I want him gone. Is a torch and pitch fork parade going to do it? I don't think so. be angry as you want, angry fans aren't getting rid of goodell.

that's exactly how Brady's appeal is going to look

Nothing we didn't know, but still good to hear it coming from the mouth of someone whose Kraft might actually (but probably doesn't) care about.

If you read his book, you'll find out that Kraft wanted Bruschi to sign a waiver before he returned to the field after his stroke.

Really? giving up? Your minds made up after, what, three days? I don't know what Kraft is thinking, but I do now He wanted to buy the Pats for years and they wouldn't sell to him, so he bought a broken down race track partially on the land, three years later he bought the crap stadium, becoming Orthwein's landlord, then nine years after the racetrack Orthwein wants to buy out the lease and move the team to St. Louis.

Instead, Kraft refuses and offers to buy the team at a ridiculous price.

9 feckin years.

I think I'll give him more than three days on this one.

YES TEDY. I ****ing love you.
Absolutely!!
For Tedy to go on national radio/TV and express disappointment that Bob Kraft did not fight is outstanding. That one stung Kraft and you can bet if Tedy is verbalizing his disappointment what must Tom Brady be thinking.

Business fights are almost always behind the scenes.

There's also the public view which the NFL is very sensitive to. Besides there was a behind the scenes battle at the NFL meetings and Kraft clearly lost. It's game over.

in this instance, the existence of Brady and his appeal complicates things

it's unfortunate for the league that too many are blinded by the desire to see the pats executed to take the situation at par and either are too arrogant or too stupid to see the potential problems the league may wind up wit as a result

complete power as the league office has is one thing........clear proof that the league abuses that power gets magnified in this instance, and there are those who would love to step on the NFL the way the NFL likes to step

I'd like to see Tedy administer a Forearm Shiver to the Coward

I had the same thoughts and I hope your right, time will tell, hopefully Brady can take a big chuck out of Goodys azz

He took over the local box company with a leveraged buyout at 27 years old merged it with a new company he started and turned it into the largest privately help paper and packaging company in the world.

I imagine he's had a few business adversaries over the years who laughed how easily he folded until he ambushed and destroyed them.

I don't know what's in his mind, but to think he folds after one defeat is really an insult to the guy. I keep repeating how he spent nine years buying useless things to get his shot at buying the team.

I can guarantee he and a phalanx of lawyers and business advisors went over the pros ans cons. he didn't become a multi billionaire by making rash decision or quitting when his first option is not viable.
