maybe we should sign him as our third down back for next season.
Honestly I laughed out loud at the thought... What a way to say "F*** you" to Goodell. But I don't think it would ever happen.

Yeah. I doubt we would but it would be a way to screw Goodell, maybe at the news conference to announce the signing, Rice can say something to the effect of I am grateful to playing on a team with such integrity after being unjustly punished by the league.

And just for chitz & giggles lets trade for A.Peterson and have both of them in back field.
This idea really is funny to think about. The Pats should trade their 2017 first for AP since they will get it fined away in a year or two anyway.

Really, though, imagine Brady operating with AP in the backfield, and Rice & Blount as change-of-pace backs. What a thought...

At leas Rice doesn't have anything serious to do with his criminal background like PSI .
The other FU I heard was for BB to trade for the 1st pick of the 2nd round. 32nd player in the draft ie

Unfortunately Rice looked finished before the incident. If not, scum or not, I'd be all for signing him just to show the craziness of Brady suspended for nothing with Rice playing.

Why, are you hosting a coed boxing event?

He's toast. Adrian Peterson would be a different story.

ESPN would actually start praising us for this move.

Sign a brutal woman beater to get back in the good graces of the American sports media

Sign Ray Rice, and leak that it is really to learn what the commissioner really knew about the elevator smack down.

Kraft has more integrity than to sign a guy that knocked his wife unconscious. Wait... what? Oh, we can't use that excuse anymore? Then sign the beast.

Let's get AHern weekend passes from Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center.
EMBRACE THE HATE

Rice aside, I'm a little surprised we haven't done more at RB with Ridley and Vereen gone plus Blount out for a game and always at risk for more. Surprised we haven't done something with Pierre Thomas although maybe Bill's supposed liking of Gaffney is real.

Great idea. Tell the NFL and Goodell where to shove it. But, Bend Over Bob might feel it wasn't in the interests of the "32." After all, he is looking out for the "common good," isn't he? (barfs)

If he's healthy, I'm hoping for Ahmad Bradshaw. He was playing really well before he got hurt last year. Ironically, against us. Though, I can see BB shying away because of past fumble issues.
