I think it was @New England Pride who said it best

"I wish Don Shula would hurry up."

One of my favorite one-liners from the 2014 season

Edit: Was Galeb FTW

I remember being 8 years old and my dad taking me to my first football game, Patriots vs. Dolphins. At that time, Dan Marino was cool and I really wanted to see him. My dad took me down near the Dolphins bench and yelled to Don Shula; of course, Don didn't turn around because he was busy preparing the the game; after trying to get his attention for a few minutes, my dad said:

"Don Shula. You are a great coach."

I never heard my dad praise an opponent like that, so to me, it was a big deal, and I always though if my dad went out of his way just to say that to Shula, he must be worthy of respect.

Of course, now my dad hates Shula just as much as the rest of us. There's just nothing that can be gained by trying to make yourself feel better by putting down others, especially those who are also worthy of respect. And of course, the media is already doing their own sh*tting on BB and Brady; Shula is just piling on. The '72 Dolphins stuff in 2007 was disgusting, and it's so funny that Shula talks about great sportsmanship and class, when he is now one of the Top 5 biggest POS in professional sports. What a total ****. If he had just kept his mouth shut, he would have been naturally revered higher, but he just can't help himself. He lost the reverence he once had and will never get it back. Miserable, vindictive old man. Doesn't have 1% of the class of BB.

Don Shula is a sausage .........

*Mistaken post*

Remember his "we didn't cheat to win"....no he just threatened his players that if they didn't take pain meds and get on the field they will lose their job. So basically risking their health more while their injured...Funny they named him specifically since he's had such a big mouth with the deflategate stuff. LOL

DON SHULA IS A CHEATER AND A LIAR:

Mud Bowl

The Mud Bowl

"The Mud Bowl was the name given to the 1982 AFC Championship game between the New York Jets and the Miami Dolphins. The game, played in terrible conditions on January 23, 1983, resulted in a win for the Dolphins, owing to some underhanded tactics by their head coach, Don Shula (and a nightmare performance by Richard Todd)."

Shula’s sabotage

"It had rained heavily in South Florida in the days leading up to the game, and on Shula’s orders, the grounds crew at the Orange Bowl failed to place a tarp on the field, turning the pitch into a morass. The resulting muddy conditions neutralized the strength of the Jets' offense, the running game, which was powered by McNeil, the league's leading rusher that season."

Don the Self Righteous is NOT as lily white as he pretends to be and has a very selective memory when it comes to cheating.

He needs to live until Belichick breaks his wins record.

That's not gonna happen. Belichick is 100 games behind. He could be, at best, 3rd, who is tom Landry at 250. Belichick is at 211.
