Try telling that to your child that MUST have the Mac and Cheese when you're at the grocery store. :D

No kidding. Not to brag too much, but I make some damned good Mac & Cheese. Everyone who has tried it likes it VERY much. Except for our youngest daughter, the 16 year-old. She wants the stuff from the box. Go figure.

I've written many of the NFL sponsors off of their websites saying I'll never use their product again because they support the NFL. I'll start in on all the Patriot's sponsors and vendors at Patriot Place. Dunkin Donuts will be easy I think it's swill but Gillette will actually be hard I like their products but Shick here I come.

Kraft has already ruined plenty, don't let him ruin a kickass family experience like that for you. Once you've had that, then you can decide how you want to move forward. Don't think anyone would begrudge you putting your son before any anti-Kraft principle.

I commented elsewhere on the board that the only time I will go back to Gillette for a game is when Brady retires. Other than that, I'll be watching from my couch.

Both are better alternatives than either of Gillette or Schick anyway.

And anyone who decides to give Harry's a shot, you can use CRACKED as a coupon code to get $5 off your first order. $10 for the Truman set is a pretty killer deal. Even if you end up liking it less than Gillette (you won't), it's still worth it just for the bargain.

Hey, instead of Schick, try these guys. I've been using their products for over a year now and I'm sold on them. Great products, great price, great shave.

Pretty easy for me.

1. Not going back to Gillette.
2. Not shopping at Patriots place (see 1 above).
3. Dropped NFL Sunday ticket.
4. Won't listen to sports hate-radio.
5. Won't turn on NFLN...trying to find a way to be rid of it on my Direct TV.
6. Won't ever again (while Kraft owns the team or Godawful is the commissioner) buy the "Friends and Family" package, or any other package, to any playoff games or Superbowls.

But then, I said it was easy for me, because my interest level is muted and will be for a long, long time. I dropped baseball for years and dropped the NFL for years because of the strikes. This debacle, added to the NFL's clear assumption that we're all stupid, makes this a thousand times heavier than those strike seasons.

Yup...the league's juvenile trolling makes it all even easier.

I'm not going to lie to myself. I may watch a Pats game here or there next fall, but nothing like I've had going on for years, where it was more like a mandatory outing for friends and family. It's all made easier because both of my sons have completely tuned out to the NFL because of this, including my son (and grandson) on the west coast. For us, the Patriots were a bonding thing, a reason to text or skype a bit more.

We'll find other reasons. I know my son. He won't be back to the NFL anytime soon.

Also, for anyone with Direct TV. Sunday Ticket is the big one - it's very expensive and Direct TV pays HUGE money to the league for it.

Oh, and I'm also making red circles with a diagonal line to stitch onto my Patriots hat...call it a public display of disaffection.

Is PFW in Progress exempt as it's a great place to voice your displeasure at the BS that's going on? I've been listening since the beginning.

It is also important to keep in mind that buying tickets from a 3rd party does not directly impact revenue for that game, many, many people that sell tickets are doing so on a somewhat regular basis. Meaning if we weren't buying them from the 3rd party, that party would not be buying them directly. So there is, unfortunately, no way around supporting the NFL/Kraft,etc. if you are attending a game. (It is possible if you're buying just from some guy, but you can't even know if some guy is really being honest about his ticket sale or not.)

Hah, from your signature, can I take it that you either live in the south or make the Mac & cheese "southern style", so to speak?

I was in Oxford, MS a few months ago at a place right next to Ole Miss and asked about a side order of Mac and Cheese and asked the waitress if their Mac and cheese was good. Her response: "Pfffffft. Yes."

It was the best Mac and cheese I've ever had. Bar none. If I lived near there I would never want Kraft Mac and cheese ever again.

One more time Bob Kraft does not have anything to do with Kraft foods

Nor do I with Wilson footballs

Filled out a form on Gillette's site letting them know that after 30 years I'm no longer a customer. Do the same if you have 5 minutes.

As you mention, it depends on the 3rd party. If you're buying from a neighbor who had something come up, that's one thing. If you're buying from a reseller, that's different.

Just wrote this:

"As a New Englander and Patriots fan, I've used Gillette products almost exclusively since I was 17 years old. But after watching Robert Kraft capitulate to the NFL and prioritize the other owners over his franchise and fanbase, I've decided that I cannot support him. By extension, I cannot support his sponsors, and therefore I've taken my business to www.harrys.com."

So the forum needs advice from fpraven88 the colts fan .... seriously .... we don't.

Hmmm, good catch. I suppose the only way around that is if it's someone you REALLY know well and know their intentions.

Another gray area: they have raffles for Pats tickets at my work. Would winning tickets (either from workplace or elsewhere) count as a way to attend a game without giving any money to Kraft?

Pretty much immediately after this travesty occurred this week, many folks have made the point that Fredo Shaft cares only about the almighty buck. I definitely agree that money is his primary interest in life, and I agree with all ideas here to hit him and his corporate enablers in their money-grubbing asses.

There is something else, however, that he obviously craves to the nth degree: adulation. His sniveling statement the other day about goosebumps over being admitted to the Billionaires Club said more about his lack of character than anything I've ever seen and heard from and about him. Thus, I hope that as much as we all do whatever we can to restrict our hard-earned dollars from his grubby mitts, all of us who encounter him give him the ration of **** he deserves. He will miss the continuous ass-kissing he's been getting from us peons for the last 22 years a lot more than he'll miss a few bucks.

Next step: if someone's able to collect a list of the various sponsors affiliated with the Patriots, that would be pretty excellent. Gillette is the obvious one, already decided I've bought my last razor from them. Dollar Shave Club and Harry's (https://www.harrys.com/) are better anyway, only reason I was still using Gillette is cause of the Pats.

If you are interested in Dollar Shave Club or Harrys, you should give this a try

You won't regret it !
