“I only care about our fans,” Bob Kraft

I sounds like a joke, but I think I'm serious: JON-A-THON, JON-A-THON,JON-A-THON!

At this point I'm a little wary about Jonathon. He sounds like a good guy whose heart is in the right place, but then again remember that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree

As far as our picks and the fine, what's done is done. Those are gone.

But just because you're not going to appeal doesn't mean you can't still fight. Kraft and the organization needs to reverse their "end the rhetoric" position and fight for their fans and the organization's reputation.

Do interviews. Demand answers from the league on why they repeatedly lied to the team and the media. Find a dozen physicists who will call the Wells Report science garbage - and make sure they're unaffiliated this time. Demand answers on how and why the Patriots were forced to play with over-inflated footballs against the Jets. Force the media into asking uncomfortable questions to Goodell and other owners.

Clear. Your. Name.

Baghdad Bob said he's doing what's best for the long term interest of the team....how on God's Green Earth is what he's been doing or not doing, capitulating to the "other 31", and hanging his coach and team out to dry, in the f#cking best interest of the team? Krafty, you do realize your team is probably the MOST hated team - in all sports - in the country?
Never in sports history has a reigning champion been so despised and loathed as your team - because now, in fan's and media's eyes - you "admitted" to your team "cheating" by bending over, grabbing your ankles, and taking the "31" straight up your arse. Your actions have done nothing to assuage your fans - NOTHING.
I hear this talk about Baghdad Bob as "one of the most powerful owners" in the league - how the f#ck is he so f#cking powerful if his team has been royally f#cked in the arse on TWO occasions - losing TWO FIRST ROUND PICKS, 3 overall, a 4 game suspension to the best qb in the game, and $2M in fines along the way. What has this cheap f#ck's "power" gotten him that the other owners haven't gotten?
Krafty Bob must be all about parity, because he's letting Goodell f#cking neuter his own team. Now I think we can forget about any reduction in Brady's suspension and the draft picks are never coming back.
As a fan base we were ready, with pitchforks and torches, to "Defend the Wall" in the aftermath of the Belichick & Kraft statements before the Super Bowl.....sadly, in 3 months time those pitchforks and torches are now pointed to the money grubbing, penny pinching, cheap f#ck billionaire Baghdad Bob..

Jon Boy is nothing more than a ventriloquist dummy for Bob.

This is the only thing Kraft cares about doing...

Say hello Jonathan

The next time he is interviewed he needs to be asked how this is in the best interest of the fans. And whoever is interviewing him needs to tell him the fans care more about the teams reputation than anything. I was so proud of Kraft when he demanded an apology and I couldn't be more disappointed in him now. He's a fake and doesn't care about the teams reputation or the fans.

Well he has at least 31 fans.

I don't trust Krafts. Not one bit. Sorry, Jonathan.

Previously, I was cautiously optimistic about Kraft entirely because he was Bob's son. Figured in all likelihood we would get a competent, invested guy who was 90% businessman and 10% fan. Maybe not as competent as his dad, but hopefully competent enough.

For all those same reasons, I'm now cautiously pessimistic, entirely because he's Bob's son. In all likelihood we'll get a competent, invested guy who's 110% businessman and -10% fan, just like his dad. And when I say competent, I mean he's capable of getting what he wants to do done, not that what he wants to do intersects in any way with what we as fans might want.

I can only hope that this will be something of a formative experience for him, showing him exactly how pointless it is to willingly become a league crony.

C'mon Bob be honest you don't give a crap about the fans. You made that perfectly clear when you bent over for Goodell. You only care about money, and the other owners. The fans mean nothing to you. I hope it was worth it ,because you are now one of the most despised people in Boston sports. Oh by the way I hope you enjoy being mocked everyday by the NFL.

Because I haven't said it today:

**** Kraft

It's simple. When Bob states he believes this is best for the long term interest of the team, he means long term like 50 - 100 years. By quitting now, he strengthens the leagues ability to fight the NFLPA, and by keeping the NFLPA down, the owners will enjoy years of prosperity and 50 years from now they will continue to reap the benefits. Brady will just be a war casualty, the price of battle for the common good (in this case the owners. He's not the first to sacrifice a son in battle. Your grandparent may have). So 50 years from now you will still have a team to root for thanks to Bob's gallant action.
