Does Belichick really feel this way?

I apologize, I'm not from the Boston area and really have no idea how reliable Borges is, but reading this article gave me an uneasy feeling. Could someone please elaborate and expand on this please?

Borges is a convicted plagiarist who isn't above making up a phony source to promote his divisive agenda.

A broken clock is right twice a day. Borges is less reliable than that.

OK, you did the right thing - you asked. All you need to know is this: Ron Borges is a disgraced writer who was fired from his job as a writer for the Boston Globe for plagiarizing twice. He, has a self-admitted hatred for Bill Belichick which has burned white hot for 2 decades and he disliked and discredited Brady right from the start because he was and is pals with Drew Bledsoe. In anything remotely dealing with Belichick and Brady his opinion never counts because he hates them both.

Oh what a surprise! Brady's defiance and claim of innocence is all we may have left and Ronnie rolls this out.

Let's get real. Who really believes that anyone remotely in a position to know what Belichick is thinking would talk to Borges? Borges would be the absolute last guy in the world to get a Belichick scoop. Borges and Belichick hate each other and there is no way Belichick would ever allow anyone to speak to Borges.

Know two things about Boston media regarding professional sports.
1) First and foremost, Ron Borges and John Tomase are full of sh!t whenever they claim to have a "source" and can never be trusted as legitimate.
2) Everyone else is full of sh!t too, just not as much as the two mentioned above. There are some good ones like Reiss and Curran, but never believe anything you read as fact from any of them until you can confirm by researching it yourself.

I fully get the line:
They know nothing's done with those balls that the quarterback doesn't want done."

I am sure many get it also ... but there's a huge difference between bringing balls below 12.5 and having balls that are 12.5 - 12.8 or so indoor after the ref is done with them and the weather drops them below 12. If a QB likes a softer ball there is nothing in the rules that says balls must be adjusted for temperature during the game.

Can Brady feel the difference ... I am sure he can but there is no violation of current rules that compels him to ask the ref to pump up the balls at halftime. There is also nothing in the rules that prohibits McNally from persuading the ref to please try to keep the balls as close to 12.5 as possible.

Reiss is probably the most trustworthy Pats writer. Hes pretty darn scrupulous about distinguishing his opinions from his reporting. Still, trust but verify seems wise.

At first glance I thought "Oh sh*t". But then after thinking about it for a few minutes, I just can't buy it. First off, Borges has had a gigantic axe to grind since Belichick took over back in 2000. Besides being a convicted liar, he's got about as many sources in Foxboro as I do. If Curran/Reiss/Young report this I'll buy it. But coming from Borges, it might as well have been written or said by me.

Furthermore, I just don't see Belichick A) admitting that to anyone who would talk and B) doing that Saturday afternoon press conference. Why would Belichick have spent all that time trying to prove Brady right when he didn't believe him? Doesn't add up.

And finally, no matter what he said to the press, I just can't see Brady lying to his team mates. I think he freaked after the Jets game and told the equipment guys to ensure the balls are at 12.5 from then on. And I think science still exonorates them from any actual tampering.

Just my $0.02

Yes, but it seems espn "suggests" forces him to play bad guy sometimes.
