Revis officially a POS too

It's open season on the Pats and Brady only thing that the team can do to deflect all this negativity is win like they always do bring SB 50 and everyone shuts the **** up

Revis is like the whore that gets banged in Bangkok. She/he gets paid for his/her services, then leaves in the AM. Hey Darryl, Thanks for the ring, now pull up your drawers and go.

Agh c'mon. I love this site and I love this fan base but this level of home risk annoys me. It's fine if peope want to claim his logic is flawed, as pretty much every team "has a history."

But DO NOT try to discredit his game. Don't try to say he's too old, he's washed up, or that Brady gifted him a ring. What would you be saying if we extended him??! I'm SURE it wouldn't be that... Now if we're going to be honest: he was an absolutely elite corner for us, he locked up elite receivers, and he helped us get a ring. He was a difference maker. We've had brady for the last 10 years. We haven't had a revis. Acknowledge what deserves to be acknowledged.

You can still say his opinion is wrong.

No surprise, he has always been an ahole.

Have no problem with Revis, he was a gun for hire. He got paid, now he's back with the Jets. He has to speak the Jetspeak, just like he spoke the Patspeak.
As his punishment for wanting to live in NY, he has to play for the Jets. That must be hell right there!
But maybe they are going all the way this year! LOL....o_O:confused::D:D:D:eek:

I can't really get too mad at Revis for tossing the team under the bus on this one when our fearless leader did the same thing on national television.

Hey Darrelle if you think we're cheaters why don't you return that ring?

Dear Mr. Revis:

Thank you so much for the grand total of two interceptions you had while a member of this team. Now, go play your two months for the Jest before inevitably getting hurt and subsequently kicked to the curb.

Yours,

A Pats Fan

that wont shut people up. They wont be able to go one game this season with out a team claiming they broke a rule, you think the league is going to let them get to the superbowl? Yeah right. the patriots will be lucky to make it through the season without BB being suspended for the remainder of this year because some kicker some where shanks a 60yarder and then blames it on the patriots for cheating.

Sure, Revis exposed himself for being dim (yes, we overlooked it last year because he was our dummy) with comments like 'Spygate, Deflategate, the other stuff' (what other stuff would that be Rev?). Also remember he is a Jet. Speak too often of support and respect of Brady, BB and the Patriots at your own peril.

But Revis is a superstar player, one of the highest paid(highest?), and has influence. Put aside his jabs at Brady, he just defined the fight, the only one, that Brady and his legal team can attain. He said (paraphrasing) 'hey if there is other evidence to hear then it can be reconsidered' AND 'we were stupid to give this power to Goodell to be judge, jury and executioner''. Bingo!
Look, There was never going to be a 'The Fugitive' type revelation of innocence because the one arm man did it! The fight ahead for Brady and his legal team is singular: getting the decision out of the hands of Goodell to allow Brady's legal team to show their side/evidence to someone not a league employee and not dependent on league business to pay some of their bills.
Screw Revis but he unwittingly threw support to Brady's fight. Other players will take notice of it, due to Revis stature, which should have the affect to strengthening the NFLPA's resolve to push this fight. (Brady having a motivated NFLPA is important).

If we can get this in front of an authentic third party for Brady to present his side, I'll be extremely happy. And in the end if the third party says 'confirmed, more likely than not guilty', while it will continue to suck the big one, at least Brady(and by extension we) got his day in court (a day that didn't have Roger Goodell as judge, jury and executioner).

Revis might as well have said what he was thinking, which was "My uncle wouldn't have let Goodell have all that power!"

I still believe those comments made on instagram a couple months ago were by Revis. He's a little *****. Can't believe people just bought his "someone hacked my account!!!1 LoL!" excuse.

There's no doubt in my mind that he didn't even come to NE to win a ring. NE just made him the highest offer last year. I don't for one second believe that he had higher offers from other teams, otherwise he would not have been a Patriot.

He came here for the money, and the SB was just a bonus for him. This is why he doesn't care if people think his ring is tainted. It's also why he signed with a team this offseason that will not win a SB before he retires. Championships mean nothing to him.

Revis is getting played by the media a bit here. You don't have to love the guy - he isn't going to bat for Brady. but the gist of the Herald article anyway was that if Brady did something (and he doesn't know if he did) he should get punished..

Revis has always been about the money. I kinda respect that. Super Bowl or whatever - he doesn't care. He just wants to be paid.

By reading selectively and already forming your opinion based on the media's headlines, made to grab attention and get you to read, we are in fact doing the same thing that frustrates us about others not grasping the Deflategate situation.

Revis said Tom is probably the greatest of all-time, that IF he did something wrong, there should be no exceptions, and then he acknowledged that he may not have in fact done it. He then criticized the NFL's "justice" system of Goodell being sole authority.

Read the whole article...it's all there.

Guilty.
I was momentarily happy again, distracted by JETHATE
buttressed by watching Tanguay, Merloni and some fat guy yesterday commenting on this, including none of these inconvenient facts that have disturbed my previously pleasant hate narrative.

Then these inconvenient facts remind me that I really wish Revis were still here.

I hate when that happens.

Full item:

Darrelle Revis offered his two cents on Deflategate and while he has the utmost respect for Tom Brady, feels the Patriots quarterback should do the time, if he did the crime.

At least, that’s the gist of what the Jets cornerback, who helped lead the Patriots to their fourth Super Bowl title last season, told the Daily News.

"Everybody's blowing it up because it is Tom Brady," Revis said. "I understand that. But if (the NFL) feels he did the crime or he did something and they want to penalize them, then that's that. (The Patriots) have a history of doing stuff. You can't hide that.… Tom was there when they did that stuff in the past."

That being said, Revis, in his first extended comments on the Deflategate fallout, made it clear he wasn’t aware of any cheating by Brady or the Patriots with respect to deflating footballs in the AFC Championship game. He suggested the team’s history in terms of rule-breaking may have played a role in their punishment.

"New England's been doing stuff in the past and getting in trouble," Revis said. "When stuff repeatedly happens, then that's it. I don't know what else to tell you. Stuff repeatedly happened through the years. You got SpyGate, you got this and that and everything else. Obviously in those situations in the past, they had the evidence. So they did what they needed to do."

And the Jets still suck, Revis.

Come on now. You do know the reason for the low interception total is the lack of footballs thrown his way? The man earned his money and earned his ring. It sucks that he left, but he went for the most money he could get.
