Is he trying to be a good partner, or does he have the interests of the Patriots fans in mind?
Or is he arguing that being a good partner is in the best interests of Pats fans? Because I don't see how.
Opening day will be interesting. I guess they can just fill the stadium with local office zombies stuffed in Patriots jerseys. If any real Patriots fans show up outside to protest, they will be characterized as "honks" and a fringe movement. Sorry state of affairs, indeed.
Senility is really the only explanation. If he really believes this, and there's an explanation exactly WHY what he did was in the team's/fans' best interests, he'd better tell us. Otherwise he comes across as confused or totally clueless.

That's why he and Goodell are so close. They have common traits. Now he's flat-out lying to the fan base. How far is he going to fall?
Totally agree. It's easy to say he did it for the long term interest of the team but it completely lacks any substance. IF he really cares for fans (and not just their ca$h), he owes us an explanation as to the why.If he really believes this, and there's an explanation exactly WHY what he did was in the team's/fans' best interests, he'd better tell us. It seems he's saying "Just trust me. I know what's best but can't tell you why." He's expecting us to just go along with it because he is His Highness Robert Kraft Owner of the New England Patriots.Totally agree.
