While I agree most will continue, some of us won't.
Myself and others I attend games with have declined our tickets for 2015 already.
Not enriching Kraft with tickets, parking, concessions, material.
Not buying the 3 Games Blu-Rays for self or gifts as planned.

GFY Kraft.

I'd like to hope there's more fans like yourself then not. I've been a fan for 30 years and although my post count is low (I actually joined around 2000 under a different screen name) I love seeing vet posters are as pissed as me. It's about having fun for me. It's just not fun anymore. Opposing teams are just slinging shiate at the walls and hoping it sticks at this point. It's like going to a party when you know 90% of the people there think you're a liar and a cheat,, not because your a liar and a cheat, but because you're the most popular person there. Why go? I loved the run, but it's just no fun anymore.

Bob Kraft’s rationale for not challenging the heavy-handed punishment for Footballs Obeying the Laws of Physics-Gate misses the point by a mile. Kraft reasons that the interests of the 32 owners would not be served by a protracted, expensive and messy public spectacle that the challenge and potential subsequent lawsuit would entail.

The bigger point is that the hopelessly flawed system employed by the NFL where players, coaches and teams can be convicted of wrongdoing without a critical evaluation of the evidence against them will continue unchanged. How can a system that is so haphazard and inherently unfair be in the best interests of the 32 owners?

I have no idea whether Messrs. Brady, Jastremski or McNally did anything untoward on January 18. The sad fact of the matter is that no one else does either. Ted Wells was supposed to administer a fair and objective fact finding process. He did not.

Wells abandoned any pretense of impartiality, becoming a prosecutor and advocate. He based his findings on highly subjective and questionable interpretations of events, flimsy circumstantial evidence and innuendo that he and his legal team manufactured out of thin air. His conclusions are not sufficiently supported by the evidence and those accused were not afforded the opportunity to defend themselves prior to a verdict being rendered. And yet, Goodell, Vincent and the rest of the NFL gleefully piled on, leveling unprecedented penalties.

All of us – fans, players and coaches - were heartened by Kraft’s initial defiant attitude toward this obvious injustice. However, to be realistic, the fix was in and the deck was stacked against Brady and the Patriots from the outset. Such is life in Roger Goodell’s NFL. While I had little expectation that the penalties would change in any meaningful way, I clung to the hope that the appeal process would lead to an open and honest airing of the facts. That would have been in the best interests of the people who stand accused and convicted of wrongdoing, the 32 owners and the fans of the NFL. At a minimum, as fans, we deserve better.

Bob Kraft’s actions deprived us of the opportunity to find the whole truth. We will never really know with any degree of confidence what actually happened. And suspicions will linger that the NFL office, under Goodell’s so-called leadership, is indeed a corrupt hellbroth of incompetence, dishonesty, greed and ego.

Kraft believes he acted in the best interests of the league and that the other 31 owners will view him as a statesman for putting his own interests aside for the greater good. The reality is that many if not all of the other owners are laughing their asses off at Kraft for being a sucker and a fool. In the cutthroat NFL, being a nice guy is an open invitation for further abuse. Kraft might as well be wearing a “Kick Me!” sign.

The Patriot owner often talks about the times he and his sons spent at the old stadium, reminding us that he was and is, first and foremost, a fan. He can no longer make that claim. The fan has been replaced by the owner. His loyalties lie no longer with the paying customers, but with The Billionaire Boys Club, a sad but inevitable outcome. He has forfeited his birthright as one of us. Ironically, like his team and his quarterback, his reputation has been irreparably sullied and for no good reason.

The second area in which Kraft has failed football fans everywhere is his complicity in the hiring, care and feeding of the world’s highest paid imbecile. Is it a lack of business judgment or is Bob no longer able to keep track of all of his marbles? Or just maybe Roger has pictures of a Viagra-crazed “Mr. Kraft” cavorting with lingerie-clad barnyard animals on the lawn in front of the State House.

Any clear thinking person can draw only one conclusion from Goodell’s hideously obscene compensation package: namely, that in the judgment of Bob Kraft and the NFL owners, Roger Goodell is the single most important and valuable person in NFL history. Wow.

It is a crime that the fans are footing the bill to the tune of tens of million for this fraud, this incompetent nitwit. The fact that Roger’s spectacularly inept attempts to safeguard the ”integrity of the game” do not include any consequences for his own colossal failures makes him a hypocrite as well as a dunce. Sorry, Bob Kraft – that’s on you. Will you be the last person in the world to figure this out or do you like being Roger’s whipping boy?

Kraft stated that he hopes the fans will understand. I do not. We do not. I can only imagine that his coach and quarterback do not. When all is said and done, Bob Kraft will no longer be sitting with us fans at the stadium anymore, either literally or figuratively. I guess he doesn't care because he has new friends now.

Between jerseys, shirts, and sweatshirts I must have at least two dozen pieces of Patriots apparel not counting hats. I can't even look in my closet right now without feeling ashamed.

I would like to know one owner who puts the league before his team. jones irsay woody....They and all the others are sooooo happy kraft does.

The league takes care of itself, rice Peterson....etc and top ratings for year and SB. you don't take care of your team and from one season to next its you are a loser.

There's good reason that Zeus is King of the Gods!

Gawd I wish I'd written that.

I have a Brady jersey and a signed photo of Butler's interception that are still going to be prominently displayed in my living room. Everything else is getting shoved in the closet for now, and will probably end up being given away. I'm not dramatic enough to burn it or anything like that, but I don't really want it around anymore.

Kraft is perpetuating a monster in the NFL front office. A monster that has no accountability, can create any amount of chaos and disruption and has no fear of being called on it. It would be one thing if Roger was just a puppet of the owners but he is an entity that is no only answerable to himself.

All the more reason to just check out, I guess. This situation isn't going to get better; only worse. Whether or not you think it's still worth your time to get fleeced by 'the full 32' is entirely up to you.

Did you go to that in person signing with Butler at the South Shore Plaza too? That was a lot of fun. I got the largest print they had and got it framed.

A few weeks later I spent $1,250 getting an official elite jersey signed by Brady and getting it museum quality framed with a plaque and two official Super Bowl photos in it. It is more beautiful then you could imagine. It's still in its packaging since I picked it up 2 weeks ago. I can't look at it without seeing money burning.

God I fuc.ked up so bad lol

Nope! I'm out in Los Angeles, so south shore is a bit of a hike for me, haha. That's totally not a regrettable purchase, though. You got a kickass memento of the last time you could be a Pats fan in good conscience.

Once again the foolish cite the need for a good relationship and influence with the league & 31 owners.

Exactly! What the hell is the point of having "a good relationship" and "influence" with the other owners if you can't cash it in at a time like this?

F**k that.

Exactly, it's not fun anymore. I have tix for this year and may not use any of them and after this year somebody else can have my seats. I've been here for a while but don't post much, I've been coming to games since the mid 70's and had season tickets for almost 20 years (didn't really need them before that) but I'm done. Bob Kraft was a fan, Mr. Robert Kraft isn't and has no connection to his fanbase. It's too bad, it was fun for a long time.

If the owners thought this united front has meaning then they are stupid. The scandal did not end with Bob's surrender. The rest of the country couldn't give a s*** less what Bob said because he didn't admit guilt.

It will continue to be news because the real story is Brady, and Brady is driving on. So this unified front to end it didn't end Jack s***.

If they think that a unified front is what's needed to end scandals they are double stupid. Roger creates scandals from thin air. Circling the wagons to protect that imbecile just ensures the NFL will be constantly surrounded by scandals and court cases. They've also lost all credibility with the players because everyone thinks Roger is a petty tyrant.

The agreement to let Roger handle punishments was predicated on him being fair. The next CBA will not allow such power because this one abused it.

I have to laugh at the thought that the Pudgy Putz has any influence . He is the laughing stock and whipping boy for the League and he is too addled to realize it. Even the nothing owner of the Ravens lied to Goodell and had him give Rice a two game penalty for slugging his wife and the Putz loses a first round pick for doing nothing wrong. I just wish the doddering old fool would turn the team over to his son and just spend his time with his escort attending celebrity ****tail parties.

The Wells report clearly indicated that after four months and 45 million dollars that neither Robert Kraft, Bill Belicheck or any other personnel within the Patriots organization aside from Jastremski, McNally and maybe just maybe Tom Brady had any knowledge whatsoever of this ridiculous witch hunt yet they still come out and punish the organization beyond belief. So what does Kraft do? He rallies the troops and indicates he will fight for the reputation and honor of his franchise only to get to the owners meeting to capitulate and essentially throw his entire team and his fan base under the bus? Why would he do this? The report itself exonerated the organization and he had not only every right to fight this but an obligation to do so yet he caved. He went from the general leading the charge to Benedict Arnold in a matter of minutes. He is a coward through and through and should never have the respect of this fan base again. He played all of us like Goodell has played him. Tom Brady should demand to be traded today after Kraft shoved it up his ass like he did. Sell the team Kraft and go away

Mr. Kraft seems to be keenly aware of the responsibilities he and the Pats have to the rest of the league. And that's fine. We have to remember that the Pats are part of something bigger than themselves.

But, I think perhaps he forgot that the league has responsibilities to each individual team. Prominent among these responsibilities is fairness. Fairness is not merely a luxury. Fairness is a duty we owe ourselves.

If you are being treated unfairly, it is your duty not to put up with it. You're not being "nice" or "conciliatory" by letting others abuse you. Mr. Kraft has, as many others here have pointed out, made it easier for the NFL to persecute the Pats in the future. But, he has also made it much easier for the league to trample other teams.

Yes, the NFL is a community, and the Pats are only one member in that community. But any community must be judged by how it treats those members who are disadvantaged and vulnerable. The Pats were in a position where they stood accused, ridiculed and vilified. And how did the league react? The league lied about the nature of the accusations against the Pats. The league used phony science to protect itself at the Pats' expense. Rather than protecting the Pats, the league took a dump on the team.

Any society or community like this is better served and indeed, strengthened by standing up to it. Mr. Kraft has sent a message that "getting along" matters more than anything, and that's a terrible ideology for any organization.

Bob Kraft simply values his seat at the billionaires table more than he values us - his team's fans....

Even if that's true -- and while I might not support that exact wording I do have sentiments in a similar direction -- it doesn't support the part of the post where you call him "cheap".

VERY well said!
