The very very best we can hope for from Goodell, IMHO, will not include Brady's name or case whatsoever. Anyone thinking he is caving on Brady is living in a fool's paradise. That is an ongoing dispute that the Emperor's legal team surely has said 'say nothing'. I believe the best we will get (and this has the chance of slim and none): "We recognize the investigation was not conclusive to a reasonable doubt. We recognize the Patriots, an outstanding! organization (thinks in his mind: thanks for the capitulation Bob!), maintains their innocence in the matter. However, the investigation concluded more probably than not.......and we at the league will always air unwaveringly on the side of protecting the integrity(thinks in his mind: I can't believe they buy me using that word) of the game. Blah blah blah, yada yada yada".
Again slim to none. Much MUCH better chance he speaks only about the extra point change and other items, and defers on Deflategate due to the "ongoing appeal".
