Seriously, we've seen this forum get twisted upside down before like during the KC game, but nothing like this. Optimism of any kind is ridiculed and Pessimism is being very positively received.

Not trying to make any point of it being good or bad, but its notable how it's normally been the polar opposite over the years here.

It's catastrophic to all the team (Brady/Belichick) accomplishments of the past 15 years. So yeah pessimism is warranted.

In a single swipe, everything the team did has been nullified and exposed to unwarranted attack. Never thought it would come to this. but, hey, it is what it is. If he is moving on, so can we

Never said it wasn't, hence the thread title.

At least from my perspective, I am not displaying pessimism. I'm displaying disgust. I am still behind the real patriots In this organization; belichick, all the players and staff, the volunteers, the cheerleaders, the fans etc.

I still hope for the team to win the next Super Bowl and run up the score on every team it faces. I still want our players to let their play do the talking.

But as a fan, I have every right to disagree with what ownership is doing and let it be known. This is just not right.

You know it's bad when some of the biggest homers who will shoot down even the most legit criticism of the team under normal circumstances are some of the loudest critics. (For the record I was a homer).

This times a thousand.

And in no way is this board broken I am so lost right now and my anger/confusion is not necessarily coming out in proper context and thankfully there are posts like this one and hundreds others that are properly stating it And helping me to come to grips with it.

Is the thread title saying that Kraft is the one who put the AFF redirect on here? Sounds more probable than not to me. Might as well accuse him of this, he'll just roll over on that too.

What do you expect? The owner of the team threw the team under the bus.
Are you expecting Patriot fans to be happy that our team is under the control of someone who thinks that something bad for the team but good for the league is what he should champion?

Kraft has put a knife through the heart of Patriot fans everywhere. He has put an exclamation point on our lowest point as a football Dynasty, and he's the owner of the ****ing team!

He let a NY Jet scumbag destroy us from the league office and he's siding with the NY Jet scumbag in order to protect the false integrity of the league.

I seriously cannot think of anything worse than this.

Every game the team wins for the rest of BB and Brady and Kraft's careers will be followed by "did they cheat to win this game?" And we as fans, and the patriots as an organization no longer have any defense against that allegation.

As much as I am angry and disappointed in Mr. Kraft's decision, I am a pats fan homer for life.

Nothing can make me waiver, nothing(except Ian) can keep me from posting here..

Really doubt that posters will be swayed from posting here..

Not a chance. I just didn't expect some to completely be ready to leave this team like so. I can't say I completely blame them, but it's something you'd never expect to see.

Unless Brady fights on ... which I think all of us are hoping for

I am honestly and truly embarrassed to be a fan of a team owned by Robert Kraft.

I have LOVED the Patriots. I have not missed a down in 20 years. (Well I like to say that but in truth I've probably missed 8 or 10) I think BB and Brady are the best of all time. I am as avid and loyal a fan as I can be.
Yesterday Bob Kraft told me my loyalty does not deserve consideration and the team must suffer so the billionaire owners of other teams get their way. I cannot in good faith accept that.
Bob Kraft defined who he wants as a Patriot fan yesterday, and its not me.
I am heartbroken about that, but to look the other way would make me just as phony as Kraft.

Just cuz I'm pissed doesn't mean squat when it comes to my loyalties as a fan. I still bleed the colors and love the players past and present.

I'll probably cheer this team passionately until I'm dead. However just because my opinion changes on the owner doesn't mean I'm not a Pats fan all of a sudden. The owner is one that I admired and was proud of to call ours. Not anymore though. I believed he was about the team and the fans and I was wrong and I think a lot of other fans feel the same as far as the betrayel.

My feelings mirror your observations. First thing I did after seeing everyone freaking out over KC was buy some good tickets at an incredible price to the Cincy game. I couldn't believe people were jumping ship at that point. This time I find myself agreeing with much of the negativity and struggling to relate to the positivity.

Patsfans broken?

even if brady fights on. Roger dumps the suspension and it looks like Kraft paid him off(again) Brady suspended any amount of games, he is a cheater. Brady wins in court(Doesn't matter the patriots admitted that they cheated) brady loses in court (hes a cheater)
