Let me first say I never expect Kraft to take the NFL to court. I never thought he had that Al Davis rebel in him. I just also never thought he would cave in the manner he did. Everybody has a theory as to why it went down like it did. Mine is that once he got to the league meetings some of the owners laid it out to him that if he didn't call off the dogs then and there they would ostracize him. Judging by his press conference and how he waxed poetically about his first league meeting I think it's as solid of a theory as any other.

By capitulating in such quick order he's tipped his hand for all time. If you push all of your chips into the pot Bob's going to fold. So what you have is a league office still stacked against the Patriots. A set of owners who because of their inability to beat the Patriots continue to whine and seek ways to set them back. He should have stuck to his guns and at least petitioned the league to review and lessen the punishment.

By coming out day one of the Wells report and saying they wouldn't fight he showed his true nature and intentions. Then due to the backlash from NE fans and I'm sure behind the scenes from Tom Brady he realized he made a mistake and had to act. So he came out swinging and gave everybody false hope. Everybody thinks he made a deal behind the scenes. Personally I doubt it. I think the owners pushed and he didn't have the stomach to become a pariah to the other 31 which is more important to him than the fans or his players. I personally hope there's no deal so nobody can ever paint him as a martyr who helped save Tom. I think Tom will ultimately be vindicated without Bob's help.

Through all the foolhardy acquiescing, choosing the shield over the fans, money first, etc the thing that kills me the most his that he and Goodell hugged it out. Is it wrong that it makes me personally feel dirty that he would hug the guy who's screwed him twice? The NFL has conveniently used the Patriots as a scapegoat to cover up for all of their screw-ups regarding Rice, Peterson, etc. Goodell used Kraft to get his power and used him again to solidify it with the league. I just picture Michael Corleone kissing Fredo and telling him it's OK you can F me again when you get a chance. I could not be more disgusted. Next time Kensil, Goodell and the rest of the anti-Patriots league office screw his team over Robert can scratch his head and think wow I don't get it I've always given them what they wanted.

I don't want to hear how smart Robert Kraft is ever again. I don't want to hear how he's a fan of the team first. I don't want to hear how he's one of the best owners in all of sports. But I especially never again want to hear Robert Kraft is one of the most powerful owners in the NFL. What a crock of @#$%$. Paper tiger and cowardly lion.

I will never watch any NFL shows and especially NFLN or red zone or Sunday ticket. I will never watch a game Tom Brady isn't part of. Once Tom retires I'm done. Even though I know it's unrealistic I wish they would trade him to Houston or another franchise I don't despise and could get on board with. I will never go to any event at Gillette or be a patron at any of the Patriot Place establishments. You will not get a cent from me.

Sadly I won't be buying 3G2G4. I want to return my SB cap that's only a few months old. I won't buy from NFL sponsors. I've already switched from Gatorade to Powerade, etc.

All those good feelings from the past are gone. SB49 high, gone. I wish fans boycotted going to all the games at least without Brady if it comes to that.

I hope fans boo Kraft or chant COWARDDD.... and I hope he seeks out his good pal Roger to give him a shoulder to cry on. Hug it out again boys you deserve each other.

I don't regret 3gtg4. It is something to look back on and reflect on the teams accomplishments. Yes it puts money in their pockets but to me it's a way to look back on what was a great season.

No more jerseys, calendars etc. the little things that I really don't need are xxd out. I already have Several Brady and Gronkowski jerseys so no big deal there.

Eat a large meal before you go to the stadium and don't order his overpriced food and beer. Hit him where it counts. However I think human nature will take over for most fans and this will be fruitless. It would have to be a consolidated effort by fans.

Well said, man. Agree 100%.

Probably the worst part for me is hearing Kraft say he has respect for Roger. That made me want to puke .... even moreso than the image of Roger anally abusing Kraft did.

Worst is the first thing Monday morning Mortensen big lie.
A lie that was left to stand. This was accepted as fact, across the board.
Pats got bad info from the league, not corrected until March 28.

This set public opinion from the first day,
left everyone trying to explain something that did not happen.

.3 PSI. How many know this?
Mad Dog quoted the 11 out of 12 lie the other day during his EEI tirade.

New info. More data please?
We need, deserve an equalizer of a leak.
Or two.

Part of cleaning out the Commish's office, that I hope is part of the deal.
Commish, "integrity of the league, the other 31s precious thing is protected.
Bad guys removed.
Brady gets a fine for not cooperating.

Florio is good candidate for this. He was on EEI this AM saying it again.
This entire circus grew from that one early lie of a leak.
Another leak telling a very different story would change the momentum.

This is not over.

It is over. Kraft forfeited and now the league is free to treat them as cannon fodder.

Went to bed last night still angry, I expected time would calm me down. I woke up still angry, I feel betrayed. Screw you Kraft, you should be ashamed of yourself!
Thank You BB and TB for your efforts and your honor. Doing what you know in your heart is right and not being a coward like the owner!

Your switching drinks from Powerade to Gatorade just because they sponsor the NFL?

I respect what you were saying about not supporting them, but ...

the f*ck?

I'm sorry I could never switch what I drink for the NFL. I will drink what I want in general. Hell, I don't care if ISIS is sponsoring it. I won't let the NFL affect every aspect of my life.

It was an easy enough switch and I let Gatorade know as much.

2014 Americas Game Patriots video. Since there's no way it won't be censored it would be cool if all of the players declined to be part of it. I'm sure Kraft will give everybody a kiss on the cheek and convince them it's not his or the leagues fault.

Good thing for me that Gatorade doesn't make Bud Light...

SB high sure isn't gone for me

Bud and Coors are also sponsors. Luckily for me I drink Guinness 90% of the time.

Sometimes I draw the line with protest statements...

Few more points I've stewed on overnight.

The NFL can put up there "start of the Patriots dynasty" crap on their website to appease Bob and try to win the fans back but we know the truth of all this is trying to end the last dynasty.

Revis can spew his crap because Kraft pretty much told everybody it's ok to do so but let's not pretend you're not dirty too Darrelle. You had to sign with the evil empire to get your only ring so go ahead and try to sell it to the gang green faithful by bashing the guy who got you your ring. You flat out sucked in the divisional round. Ice up son. My only hope is that you have to hock your ring to pay for groceries some day so you loose what you love most, the money not the ring.

Bob can spare me from the all I care about is the fans. Your capitulation speech told us what you cared about. Being part of the billionaire's club and being accepted there. You've long straddled the fence and we've heard the stories ad nauseam about you sitting in the aluminum seats in old Schaefer Stadium. You can no longer have it both ways. It was beyond waxing poetically it was a school girl crush gushing reminiscing about that first league meeting. I'm sure CBS will scan to the owner's box and try to rebuild Kraft's image this fall, good luck with that I'll be vomiting.

The worst part for you Bob is you never will be accepted. You're not an NFL power broker. You're a pawn who's good at negotiating. When the league needs you for a new TV deal or CBA you're the favorite son. Otherwise it's a rule to give the Colt's receivers an advantage, it's eliminating trick formations that John Harbaugh can't understand and we don't want John crying. Biscotti needs a cover up for his wife beater no problem. Chargers use stick em 50K. Brett Favre doesn't cooperated with an NFL investigation 50K after sending selfies of his junk? Your team? First, four, million and 4 games to the Goat all so the NFL and Goodell can fix their image and appeal to the masses and take their mind off of all the failures of the past year. You hug Goodell you poor sucker after you helped get him his job and he's royally screwed you twice.
