Brady might retire before 40, I don't think football will be enjoyable for him at this point.

I live in NYC. Yes, it is "worse."
I can't believe I stood up for this team and this man. I feel like he kicked me in the teeth by going down without a fight.
As I have said in other threads, I'm waiting to see if this was part of a deal to have all four games of Brady's suspension lifted before I decide what to do with my loyalties.

I live in MD in between DC and Baltimore (although a bit closer to BMore) but I work in DC. As soon as the Wells report came out, BMore fans and hosts were killing the Pats on sports radio. However, in DC, the show I listened to called The Drive with Cooley and Czaban scoffed at this entire manufactured "scandal". Cooley especially was great.

Who the feck said anything about being embarrassed or feeling shame?
I was referring to the fact that those of us who live outside New England will now be subjected forever
to the vitriol spewing from the pie holes of the Haters who surround us, so piss off.

It used to be a lot worse when I lived in South Florida post-Spygate. Dolphin fans are just as bad as the rest of them. They just don't get the rep that Jets fans do because they're not as loud. Now that I live in Jacksonville Beach it's much better. You rarely hear anything anymore.

Must suck being outside NE. Even here I sit and ask myself, why bother? First we have the team being attacked from the outside, then we have a horrible regional media which spends much of its time chastising Patriots fans, all the while we defend the organization vehemently. Then Kraft decides to fold and I have to glance at the morning paper with the **** heads in the media praising him all the while criticizing Patriots fans for being mad.

Is any of this worth it anymore? Brady or bust.

And I'd fully back his decision if he did decide to retire ... Tom has done more than anyone to elevate the game of football, only for the whole world to turn on him over bogus accusations. And now his owner has sullied his reputation even further...for what? Thirty pieces of silver??!

the media s praising kraft because what he did was tantamount to admitting guilt. you don't accept a penalty of a loss of a first and fourth round pick unless you are guilty. if you are not guilty you fight.

After Kraft retires, and is inducted into the pats place hof:

Is it really going to be any different than it was before? I have co-workers that were still bringing up spygate last fall. Do I care? Not at all....

I see vitrol as something that is good. It's because we're hated. We're not hated because of spygate/deflatemyass. We're hated because we've been far & away the most dominant team since 2000.

Had neither of the two gates ever happened, we'd be just as hated. I'd bum out if we weren't hated...honestly.

Next time someone gives you hard time, just tell them we'll beat their team's arse the next time we play....or better yet, wait until after we beat their team's arse and ask them how'd they like it?!

It's just sports, not life.
