Kraft will get boo'd while hoisting a banner

Kraft has shown his true colors. He is a coward. I doubt he has the guts to stand in the middle of Gillette and take the reception he deserves.

The one thing that keeps going through my head is when Kraft used the motto "Do your job" this season. Cant remember when it was. It was in the post season. But he was referring to the fans "doing their job" and that it was now the teams turn to "do their job". Everyone did their job but Kraft. His job was to defend his team, his QB and the fans who spend their time, energy and money (which goes into his wallet) on the Patriots and he didn't.

Apparently he feels his job is to serve the 32 owners and not the fan base.

Cannot and never will boo Mr. Kraft.. as much as I disagree with what he did, he is the man who brought this team from obscurity to greatness..

There is more to this than we will ever know...

He's made one good decision! Bill Belichick!

If he hadn't of made that one good decision the organisation would likely still lurch from decent to average to dismal instead of the longest dynasty in the history of the nfl.

Even the stadium is crap

I simply cannot believe he would have the gall to stand there during the banner roll out.

If he's there with Roger smiling, I hope that stadium erupts into a chorus of profanity so strong......they will still talk about in 3 generations.

While not being able to speak for everyone, the reality is that I couldn't care less about the NFL. I barely watch any non Patriots crap now.

Why do some fans persist in thinking there is some secret information that led kraft to sell out his fans that makes it all right?? The NFL leaked everything from fact to fiction about the Pats. Appealing/fighting was always going to be hard, but that's what you do when your integrity is challenged to the core and you have integrity in the first place.

Well, what more could there be?

That he was told that there was a "smoking gun" when he got to the meeting and he cut this deal to avoid the damage of having it released?

That he became convinced that Brady had lied to him and actually had played a role in orchestrating whatever happened?

That he decided, based on the best advice he could get, that Dan Shaughnessy is right, that this was a fight he "couldn't win?"

That a significant number of the other owners told him that he would be forever snubbed by them if he went through with a fight?

That, maybe, just maybe, this was the price of getting Brady's suspension lifted entirely? If so we will "know" that eventually. That's the only thing that we reasonably can't know yet that could change my perspective at this point.

So, what more could there be that we will never learn that won't take us into the realm of "conspiracy theories?" Did somebody blackmail him? Did somebody buy him off? Did he do it to protect BB because the "smoking gun" pointed at him and Kraft had already left BB hanging out to dry once before? None of those are credible, but they do represent where we "end up" if we head in the direction of the grassy knoll of "things we will never know."

I would rather the banner be raised in total silence - as every attending fan stays out in the parking lot for the entire first quarter in protest.
The most effective thing that fans could do would be to boycott the opener. Create the national spectacle of an empty stadium on opening day.

That's asking a lot of those who shelled the money out for those tickets, but it would loudly send a very clear message of how betrayed the entire fanbase feels. The rest of us would owe them a debt of gratitude.

No he didn't. Brady and Belichick. **** him and **** yo post!!!!!!!

What a conciliator! He can pat himself on the back for ending something that was taking "too long", but guess what, Bob? THE REASON IT TOOK SO LONG IS BECAUSE OF THE NFL. So they get to start it, drag it out, leak crap about you in the media and you get to…..end it by accepting everything.

Thank god you were never a leader of a country during a war. Good grief.

I can never boo him for what he has done for this franchise, we will never know the inner machinations and thought processes that took place in doing what he did.. there has to be some trust in what he did, even though I vehemently oppose it and know it is wrong..

There has to be more to this picture than we know.. even our esteemed founder of this forum, somewhat agrees..

Have not read and will not read what the pundits are speculating as to why he made this decision.. an "economic" boycott will not accomplish all that much, due to the amount of money invested.. people will follow, but probably not forgive easily right now..

I can be silent, but I cannot boo him... I will be at TC twice this year, as I have every year and will watch every minute of every Patriots game this season.

Kraft should get booed at every turn until he just stops being a public figure.

I never have liked the Red Sox ownership group and they ended an 86 years curse. I still love the Sox and it's actually kind of fun hating the owners.

Kraft has always been a greedy owner but I always gave him a pass because I loved his story of being a fan and having similar seats to mine at Foxboro before becoming the owners. But cool stories only get you so far. Your actions show that while you sat there rooting for the Pats as a kid you grew up to have a bigger passion for money and you just sold out your fandom for more.

Kraft suckups are reduced to the pathetic "We don't know what he knows" defense.
He just did more damage to the brand and the reputations of the HC and QB than can be imagined.

Ron Borges is of course, thrilled. Kraft HOF for this subjugation of the team.

For the first time in the history of any professional sports, a team hangs a Championship banner and gets booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooos from fans.

OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

True story

I know this guy (I've known him all my life- Not Kraft). Wealthy and popular with a lot of people who first meet him. He's involved in a lot of charities and does a lot of good in the community. He's got awards for his charitable work. Handsome, well-spoken, and very generous with his wealth.

I also know that he verbally and physically abused his kids, wife, and has from time to time gone after his father and mother. He punched his 86 year old father in the face knocking him to the ground last time because his father dared to tell this guy to get the "F" out of his house for berating his mother for about an hour. His own son hears fingernails on a chalkboard every time his father speaks. This guy's been arrested for assault numerous times and because he's wealthy and well-known in the community, he's gotten off of the charges and his wife is an enabler.

So I ask you. Given all that he does for charity, is he a good guy?

See, the way I see it is that you can do a lot of good and still be a complete waste of life. That's just my opinion though. Lots of people think that guy is a saint.

I've never heard those allegations before. How exactly do you know all this?
