I don't want to sound like shunned hopeful ex-boyfriend, but is it possible Kraft gets a much worse fan reaction than he expected and backtracks on his statement... and files an appeal?

*ducks for cover*

No need to duck for cover, that would be great, but the die is cast

maybe he will appeal because the gofund page only got 16 k dollars, its all about the $$$$

I was actually thinking about this earlier today...there's a chance Kraft wanted to see what the fan reaction would be like....and there's still time for him to change his mind (he has until Thursday). Will he do so. Unlikely. But it is possible

If he really cared about Tom Brady or the fans, yes, yes, he would get in front of a camera tomorrow and say I misread my fans, they are vociferously against me stopping the fight so I will.
But every word he said today was the best lie he could think of to appease fans he doesn't care about rather than telling them that Brady's reputation and legacy and the future success of the Patriots means less to him than the potential of setting the stage for his Commissioner losing power that could make it harder to hold down the players and the union.
What did the other owners tell him? There are only 33 people that matter, and Tom Brady isn't one of them. Beat Goodell and you screw us vs the union.
I am willing to bet that Kraft works against Brady in his appeal.

I know I am delusional....but I am hoping for this. The fans have spoken...it's not to late. My fingers are crossed.

Sadly, this is now a real possibility

Of course it is. It is Brady vs Kraft and the other 31 owners. We know who's side Kraft is on.
Luckily it may cost him money personally if Brady sits out so he may just go on vacation and ignore it.

Less probable than not.

I'm just going to hope there's no speech, no explanation, and he just files the appeal.

If Bob Kraft is surprised by the fan reaction, if he truly didn't expect this, he is the dumbest self made billionare in the history of mankind.
Well, sadly I don't see it as surprising at all. Slow Bob's been surrounding himself with sycophants and has lost touch. His people are not the fans, his people are the other members of the NFL's Billionaire Boys Club.

He ain't gonna do a darn thing. Brady has to exonerate himself.

Its crystal clear there are zero ****s being given by Robert Kraft when it comes to how he feels about the fans.

"Let them eat cake"

Well I hope so. My only hope now is Brady uses every available measure and even some that aren't to restore his personal integrity.

He knew we'd be unhappy, he said as much in his remarks, but I'm sure he's counting on fans having short memories and hoping that despite our anger we'll continue to support the team.

I, for one, hope that doesn't happen. I hope no one goes to training camp and the stadium is empty on opening night. I hope the parking lots at Patriots Place are empty. I hope boos rain down on him whenever he goes. I hope it gets so uncomfortable his bimbo girlfriend breaks up with him.

I've got a great idea!!
Maybe if we sit Robert on a couch, get him a glass of wine, blow in his ear and rub his knees he'll do what we want??
Oh wait, Roger Goodell already did that during a birthday party in New York on Saturday night.
Well at least we know that works...... :p
Nevermind!!
