Another great article, that really sums up what I and so many other fans are feeling right now

Out of fear of shattering the ever-busy Sports Hypocrisy-O-Meter, Kraft must never again regale us with the hagiographic tale of his rise from loyal Patriots season-ticket holder to wildly successful owner (but still a fan-at-heart!) ever again.

Because today, we found out that person no longer exists but in media guide fairy tales.

Kraft sold out the team he owns -- and the fans he years ago counted among -- in order to appease a much more exclusive club: the unholy alliance of Goodell and Kraft's fellow NFL owners.

By all appearances at the moment, he put the welfare of the NFL -- and his bumbling chum Goodell's image -- ahead of what is best for his franchise.

The Globe today is rife with Patriot haters. Chad Finn has never been one of them. In fact, he has consistently called out media haters, in particular Squeaky and the Douche. I haven't always agreed with him, but I respect him highly.

What more can you say really. Kraft made his position clear as day and he cares more about the Shield then he does his own team. And he laughs in the face of us fans.
Absolutely correct sir, we both learned quite a bit in this fiasco. Goodell and his henchmen are corrupt and biased and Kraft is a doddering eunuch.

This is like Christmas in May for the Globe. Their Patriots inferiority comes shining through today.

I love that he's getting roasted like this. As Finn said people revere rebels. Cowards not so much.

Today's decision by Robert Kraft is something I'm having great difficulty accepting. On one hand, I love the Patriots and on the other, unless something comes to pass, I find myself reviling Robert Kraft for choosing to side with Roger Goodell and the NFL.

For one reason or another, to me, this is the ultimate act of betrayal. Kraft has betrayed Tom Brady and he's betrayed Bill Belichick. Without either, the Patriots don't have 4 Lombardi Trophies and the Pats become the Revolution.

I sincerely hope there is more to this story and that I can understand why Kraft has done this because right now, it looks like he's sold out his team, his players and Patriots fans for money.

As mentioned, I sincerely hope there is more to this decision than for the greater good because I can't accept that as his reasoning.

Kraft may be liked by 31 owners but he made many more enemies today that he will see every time he shows up at an event in New England, goes out for dinner, and walks through the airport. I hope fans will take the opportunity to remind him how we felt today.

It seems to me that almost everybody missed this; the whole collectivism over individualism bit. Kraft wasn't even done stating his reply and I could guess what was said/reminded to have him change his tune so quickly and completely. To legitimately get this, one would have to be up on how the whole collectivism versus individualism bit maps to the war on consciousness and why this is going on. Do you understand this agenda? It is being served in work and school, as well.

The sad thing is probably most of them don't like him at all, despite his desperation for their friendship. The reality is there were probably a lot of jokes told about Rollover Bob behind his back by his "partners" today and deservedly so.

Do you have to post the same point on every site. We get your point enough please.

I don't even think he's liked by 31 owners. I think they probably clapped him on the back after his concession and then giggled behind his back.

I think we're on the same page as far as Kraft's fail today but it's a little bit of a reach to call a guy who has managed to accumulate billions of dollars in net worth a collectivist. It's like if I weighed 500 pounds and you called me a fitness enthusiast. The words don't fit the picture.

Utter nonsense. Seriously.

A bunch of billionaires get anti-trust legislation and use it to do as they please and you'r eshouting collectivism?

Yeah, no.

“Two novels can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other involves orcs.” - attributed to many people...and they're all right.
