My 11 year old was looking forward to a big opening night game since he could talk. I am not going to deny him that. It's just sad that Kraft and Goodell have put a stain on that day, that I looked forward to sharing with my son.

I cancelled NFL network package even though it cost MORE money somehow to exclude that from my package.... just to take money away from the NFL. So please don't accuse me of "giving up because my voice won't be heard" (paraphrasing). Nowhere in my comment did I say that. I just pointed out a fact. Like it or not.. that's what it is... a fact.

Make sure to bring him earmuffs.

I do understand actually. I'm just saying not as many Pats fans will abandon those tickets as you may believe. Not saying some won't. But you assume that everyone is approaching it this way.

No. That's where you're wrong. You are the one who is being asinine and assuming you know what I am thinking. No where did I say that "everyone" is approaching it this way.

Do yourself a favor and bow out now since you can't be bothered to talk without making assumptions about what others are saying.

Was told by a high-ranking NFL source that Kraft's decision to stand down does not include a deal on Brady. Surprising to me.

Kraft2: Takes a big man to swallow anger, give in for common good. Also takes a man who knows he wouldn’t have won+wants lower Brady ban.

I just pray and hope that brady doesnt accept a 1 game suspension carrot from goodell.

It will stay at 4 games, and no way Goodell recuses himself now. Herr Commisioner and his goons now have Kraft's blessing, and Brady (plus the team) is absolutely ****ed regarding the suspension . You guys really think Brady wants this to go to court? That he would actually win? What judge is going to give a rat's ass about his appeal when his owner has already shown that he doesn't care?

TODAY, more than anything the NFL has done over the last 10 years, is all about restoring competitive balance and parity to the NFL. What a sad day this is for any true fan of the sport.

In 1997 I ran into Kraft in a narrow dark street in Boston late one night after work. We stopped on the sidewalk and I expressed my enthusiasm for the Patriots and hoped he would do great things for the Pats. I then shook his hand. I now want a do-over.

Stop Bella.. don't shoot..lol

I hate what that gutless yellow turd did today, and was just pointing out that he did it because his brand will continue to make him money.

If every one of us gave up our season tickets, he could easily refill the stadium with season ticket holders graduating from the waitlist.

Some day, he will not be the owner of this franchise, and I might want to have my season tickets when that day comes.

I will be booing him with a passion on opening night, but I will be there.

Sorry, but you can make all the excuses you want but you're a fool for giving him more of your money.

He is counting on people just like you who will find any excuse to go to the games and give him more money.

Teach your son a greater lesson about "principles" and don't go to the games.......or...........go to the games and give more money to Spineless Bob and show Bob that he was right about people like you after all.

Judge Doty has ruled against the NFL more than a few times. And that will be the case this time around as well regardless of what Bob Kraft has done.. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see Doty rule against the NFL and Kraft just to spite them..

That whole collectivist explanation (that Kraft rendered most recently)...sounds like it came right out of Marx's playbook. It was as though somebody reminded him of the (overall) agenda. Of course, it also makes the appearance that Brady is left by himself. Please be reminded that ALL OF THIS was created/fermented by a team from Indianapolis that works from a hatred that transcends the whole collectivist mode. What a curiosity.

Apparently the Colts, and the league itself, publicly leaked information, including a lot of false information, about the Patriots on this because they wanted to protect "the full 32", right Bob?.

Come on now, no need to make Marx look bad. :)

Hmmm , maybe Sponge Bob is a good nickname for him now.

Kraft probably made a deal with goodell because goodell doesnt want to go to court with brady's appeal and assured him a 1 game suspension if kraft backed out. Now if brady is in on the deal and agrees to it is another thing. I hope not.

Maybe there's more to it. Certainly Kraft has earned the benefit of the doubt over the years.

But today feels worse than 18-1. At least then, we left it all on the field instead of picking up our ball and running home at halftime.

I wonder if the NFL is wary of trouble brewing with the masses. CBA agreement Krafts baby. All of them to arms. Do they suspect the NFLPA is trying to make an example with Brady's case?

Now as expected everyone out there is saying that this is an admission of guilty. Wonderful.

I really hope BB quits and start the journey to revamp a different team somewhere else.
..And I might just follow him. How can I support a team that doesn't support us? I have to live my life hearing , "The Pats are Cheaters" again? ...Spygate was too much, but this is GOODBYE. I can't defend something that you basically "confessed" to, while you maintain your innocence. Enjoy your money, but it wont be mine. And you WILL be booed off the stage where ever you go. That will be your legacy, a money grubbing, cheating, spineless, weasel. . Enjoy Scum. See ya

That's his boss, he doesn't really have a choice to say otherwise. Especially coming up on a new contract.
Um, he doesn't have to say anything at all. If he finds he just can't resist the impulse to STFU, he should at least show a little support for his teammate.

This touches on something that's been bugging me: the rest of the team's like/support of Brady: I suspect Brady doesn't enjoy absolute, unconditional love in that locker room, for a number of reasons. (I'mNOT saying he's not generally respected). And now that it's Brady and not the team accused of cheating (as in Spygate), we probably won't get a scorched earth policy like in 2007 and Brady is pretty much just left hung out to dry IMO. :(

Kraft's initial reply mentioned placing collectivism over individualism. FYI: this maps directly to the war on consciousness that is going on with everything else (e.g. schools). So, why does Kraft come out of a meeting and immediately gives this explanation? Because this is what he was reminded of...and backed off without a fight. Personally, I found this to be as revealing as it is interesting. It's as though Kraft was reminded of the agenda- and the relevance of the NFL to it -and backed off right away. And, yes- this is how deep the rabbit hole goes...schools, government, business and sports. They are ALL following and pushing the same agenda.

And, of course, there is the role of Indianapolis lighting a fire; kindling it; and taking off (i.e. we're done here). What else can they do? (They can't beat them on the field.)
