@RapSheet
The @NFL owners approve PATs being kicked from the 15, 2-point conversions from the 2, source said. Competition Committee proposal

Ugh, oh well I guess. I'd rather games weren't decided on extra points late in the season in bad weather. One of the few things I didn't agree with BB on.

This clearly indicates that they will use this rule change to cheat to gain an advantage.

"We have a good kicker."

Speaking of which, said kicker needs an extension, and Roger Goodell was kind enough to free up $8M in cap space over the next four years. . . . Might as well make lemonade out of lemons.

Well that's a given. What should the punishment be?

Well that's just more yards to cheat with

I really like this. It gives an added benefit of having a good kicker. It also makes the extra point an actual play. Instead of a waste of time where you get an automatic point, and might end up with an injury.

Kickers have gotten too good. So, I don't understand why they don't just narrow and/or raise the goal posts.

Puts the percentages in line closer to historical NFL, modern college averages.

What are we looking at here 98.5% vs. 97%? I know someone linked to an article about this some time ago.

It doesn't matter. I already burned my TV set due to the Kraft interview today. I won't even see the games to know a difference. Won't even pay attention. I have burned all Patriots related material and anything that the Patriots material touched and even hung an upside down NFL flag outside of my house.

:rolleyes:

Why should we want to be at college averages? College kickers suck.

It's 99,5 % right now. I've seen a poster say that kickers are 95% from 15. That seems about right.

With this, I'd like to see a fake PAT, pass (or run?) for 2 pt conversion. Nice misdirect.

That's Roger's way of making up for the $1M penalty, lost 1st and 4th round draft picks, and 4 game suspension of the GOAT. Kraft gives great hugs!

Yeah but that 95% is with the defense having to worry about fakes. Now they can sell out for the block.
