Which is going to make things very interesting when Brady’s appeal is heard by Goodell. Goodell may feel personally relieved that the Patriots and Kraft are going to take their medicine, but there are undoubtedly plenty of people in the NFL offices who won’t want Kraft to come out of this a PR winner.

They’ll reason that the Patriots did plenty of damage in their criticisms of Wells, his investigation and the way the league conducted itself from start to finish. Why, they’ll counter, should the league contradict itself on Brady? What did the Patriots do to curry that favor other than agreeing to shut the hell up?
Why didnt kraft even ask for enquiry into how the nfl conducted this matter with kensil and the constant leaks and misinformation from the nfl and blandino's lies ?

Kraft has embarrassed himself.
This line by Curran sums it up

It seems like Robert Kraft grudgingly extended an olive branch to end a war that his organization didn’t start. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if the league laughs and slaps the stick from Kraft’s hand.

Yep. By the way your sig line is spot on.

Kraft is an embarrassment. Won't be surprised if it is revealed, soonish, that he is fighting some sort of cognitive ailment.

Kraft is a bigger man than I, I wouldn't have done what he did, our only hope is there is karma in this world and those that deserve it get their due. Until then my NFL supporting days are over, unless something comes to light in the next few weeks. What BK did today is what a freaking commissioner should have done Monday after the AFC championship game.

On the slim silver lining side -- Kraft has said he isn't going to fight any more. But in theory, he could change his mind.

There is nothing big about a man who chucks his own principles whilst adopting those (e.g. collectivism over individualism) that he cannot bear. In fact, this is political correctness- a war on the soul -to the extreme. Essentially, Kraft folded to a brand of political correctness that has abandoning his team and himself.

After this has settled in, I'm actually starting to feel that relief you get when a weight is lifted off your shoulders. Sincerely, Kraft actually brought me to the point of not giving a f*** about deflategate or the team anymore. Anger has been replaced with apathy. Still hoping Brady wins, but it's like the sky is bluer now.

Friends call and start with "cheaters", and my honest response to them is "I don't even care to defend it anymore". It's a bittersweet feeling for me, but it isn't going to do anything for Kraft or the NFL's bottom line.

Hope you guys can join me here soon.

I am done.

No way I can support a team that has an owner that caves in like this. We as fans got thrown under the bus seven years ago, and now we have been thrown under the bus again.

Fool me once, shame on you.

Fool me twice, shame on me.

Whatever back-room deal may have been worth it to Mr. Kraft, but it is not worth it to me.

It has been an extreme pleasure interacting with each and every one of you over the years, but I bid you all adieu. Best wishes for all of you.

No, he's not bigger than you he's a coward. He did not make a personal sacrifice for a noble cause. He through his teams reputation under the bus and pissed all over his fan base for the benefit of 31 other billionaires.

Goodell and the NFL essentially sodomized Kraft's team and the guy who has been largely responsible for all the team's glory.

And then Goodell and the other owners basically convinced Kraft that taking it up the ass was good for business.

It's like a bad porn scene when a confused, lost girl is manipulated into a gangbang. The Pats is the confused girl. Goodell the slimy director. And a line forming left starting with Kensil, Wells, media members, etc.

You are or were one of the Moderaters of this site. A liitle adversity and you fold-up. Good riddance.

If Felger and Borges think Bob did the right thing, who are we to argue?;)

They can GFY themselves all day, every day. Can't believe they are allowed to have jobs in Boston of all places. No other city would put up with that **** out of those two.

Completely agreed. It's the equivalent of eating their young. It's amazing. Funny part is, when Light was talking to them, Felger admitted he has a certain "role" or "job". Pathetic. How can you be on a sports show and have a role? I don't care if you have a 3 person show and everyone agrees or disagrees. Just be honest about the facts and if necessary, side with the local teams. Lord knows no one else will.

You do see the irony in this post, don't you?
