Just no longer a supporter of Kraft.

What changes now is that I will no longer buy anymore apparel that makes Kraft his money, nor will I attend any games (I've only attended one before anyways.) But I will still love these players, and watch the games.

I've grown to love these players, and I realize that I'm not just a Brady fan. I'm also a Gronk fan. I'm also a Minitron fan. Collins, D-Mac, Hightower, Blount, Mayo, Ninkovich, you name it. I'm a fan of all these guys.

I just have too much loyalty to all the players on this team to abandon them as a supporter of them. If one day all of the likable players and coaches from this team are gone and only Kraft remains, then maybe I'll leave. (Until Kraft passes, anyways, then maybe I'd come back later on down the road.)

As I've stated, I don't think you have to be a fan of the owner to be a fan of the team. In a way it's like hating your boss.

Well that's just my take after what's transpired today. What is the state of all you guys' fandom of the Pats?

I remind you that not one of those players would be here if it weren't for Kraft, not one. The team would have been playing in St Louis or Hartford.

Are you saying I should not support them because of this fact?

I can't imagine I'd ever cheer for another team but I doubt I'll ever buy NFL merchandize or tickets again.

Is there a rule that the St Louis Patriots or Hartford Patriots can't make draft choices?
I mean there could be, because apparently there is a rule that you lose some because you don't prevent your footballs from being affected by the forces of nature.

I'm a fan of the players and the coach but I agree, it's sad knowing I won't see Gillette again, at least not as long as Kraft is the owner.

I just don't give a s*** anymore. Disappointed in Kraft, but whatever, his lack of fight doesn't make BB and Brady any less awesome. Call my team cheaters, I don't care, kiss the rings on your way to the Your Team Cheats website. Sad to see the team beaten down upon, but it does make their successes a bit sweeter.

Once Brady and BB are gone, I'll have to reevaluate my fandom of the NEP, but I'll probably still watch their games. I was never a fan simply because of Kraft; it's always been and always will be about the players.

Haters are always going to hate, the smart fans will know this was all BS. Goodell will get his eventually. I just don't have the energy to be angry about it anymore.

Kraft is not the Patriots, anymore then Schaeffer was , Obama or Bush were the USA . One day he will be gone but the PAts will still be here. But I do believe a point should be made in home opener to show fans displeasure (understatement )

Yes, we should all support every player on the team, as fans always have.

You have serious misunderstanding of the nature of the NFL and the nature of the US government.

Right with you, Froob.

I can't make an sense of your post.

The patriots were punished for something that they didn't do. We all know that. The owner refused to sue the NFL. As an owner, that is his choice. He has asked us to respect his choice. You choose to not support the team. That is your choice.

I will never stop being a Pats fan. But Kraft is now a unhealthy appendage that unfortunately is attached to Patriots. Maybe he should just stay away from the team and go play with his young girl toy.

I went to put on my old school Pats cap today, here in enemy territory (Long Island), and just couldn't do it.

Hopefully, things will get better, but right now, as a Pats fan, metaphorically speaking...

...just shoot me in the f*****g head.

I am a Bill Belichick and Tom Brady fan. I care about whatever happens to them as well other players like Edelman, Gronk, McCourty, etc.

Now we know the feeling of being a Cowboys fan. :D

But what does this provide to the topic of the current status of being a Pats fan?
