What I don't quite understand is some of you are saying "damn now we'll be known as cheaters forever! The whole legacy is tarnished!". You guys do know that regardless of what happened with the appeal, the opinion of the vast majority of people was not going to change one bit? Theyve been known as cheaters even before this Deflategate crap happened. Patriots fans will always defend the team and everyone else will hate them. It's been like that for the last 8 years. What difference did today make exactly?

Well, it gets a bit confusing if the "team" choses not to defend itself. What else do you want Kraft to do? I guess he could flash "SUCKERS" on the Jumbotron on opening day to express his true feelings about the fans.

I'm taking a step away. Gonna watch Judge Judy scream at morons & pretend it's Kraft. Won't be hard.

Who has a PS4 and COD: Advanced Warfare. My gamertag is KDP_Soldier if you want to play and get some aggression out. Will be on at 8pm

I'm having an impromptu Norwegian film festival, but I can still see the computer for occasional responses.

I love the beauty of the fjords of Norwegia*

*Yes, I know

You should go and tell Kraft that to his face.. He needs to hear it..

I have actually had a number of discussions with their media relations people over the past month and they were great about listening to everything I said. They are obviously limited in how they can respond but I definitely got the feeling they are on the same page as the fans but are unable to come out and say so. I honestly think Robert Kraft is on an island on this one and doubt he has any support at all even inside the organization. That's just a gut feeling but I believe it. I will continue to support the team but RK is no longer someone I hold in any regard. I am sure he will be crushed by that but that's the way it goes.

Preparing for suicide is a little extreme, even for you.

The sad thing is that most of those same "fans" would come back the following week

En ganske snill mann.......... quite good :D

I had planned to take my kid to camp this summer and to a game at Gillette next year and that's obviously not going to happen. I am canceling my cable too. A little extra money in my pocket will be a good thing as my upstairs HVAC just broke to round out a truly sh*tty day.

Anyone else notice Brady's name never came up?
Kraft stabbed him in the back. Now when Brady wins his appeal NFL observers will say it was a fix set up by Kraft.
Bob Kraft should not be allowed to set foot on the Gillette stadium turf without being deafeningly booed.
Bob Kraft is a traitor.
Tom Brady should demand a trade and Bill Belichick should resign today.

I'd agree with this post but Bill Belichick built this team. He's close to retiring. Let him finish out his days here. I know Kraft doesn't deserve him. But I want to see BB in all his glory, not having to rebuild what a dominant franchise he built.

I guess Roger really hurt his feelings then, what with Bob's total appeasement of Goodell's whims.
Kinda my point... he's obviously not the most emotionally stable person it seems if Goodell can make him cry like that..

And of course they are now speculating what happened between Saturday and today. And of course its some new evidence from godell. Mac flipped, or something. Yea because all these months wasn't enough. And if they had it they wouldn't have leaked it, yea right

I'm running through the Varg Veum series. I'll add your suggestion to my list, though. Thanks.!

It would be one thing if Kraft said nothing over the past few months and came to this decision; there would be grumbling but at least he would not be viewed as inconsistent, misleading and somewhat of a fraud. The 180 degree turn in a matter of hours is a slap to the fan base unintentional or not. The only way this makes sense is if the draft pick(s) is restored AND Brady's suspension is overturned. Brady will likely win his NFLPA appeal so Kraft's turtling to the Wells report he was apoplectic over only days before defies logic.

Of course its too late now to appeal the draft pick forfeiture because Kraft turtled to stay in good graces with the other billionaires. Ironic in that many of these owners barely contain their glee whenever the Pats are accused of ANY transgression, no matter how big or small, real or imagined. Some of these same owners employ and / or give the wink and the nod to their underlings to cry foul to the NFL about issues that would be virtually ignored if it was another team.

Kraft had his reasons but please Bob don't be a hypocrite. Don't piss on our leg and tell us its raining...don't confuse our loyalty for stupidity.

Remember when Kraft declared that "We are all Patriots?" that was fun.

I will now throw my Kraft Mac and cheese in the garbage.

Kraft International has nothing to do with International Paper and the Kraft Group.. Nice job

How can you describe the relationship between you and your favourite sports team? It's tough to describe, as it is so unrational to care that much for just a few professionals playing a sport you like. But that's what fans do, we care about our team and players. Maybe some of us way too much but it is what it is.

I, personally, haven't been witness of the dark times of the Pats. Many of you experienced those and still proudly said that's my team, because the love for your team is unconditional. Yes, they might suck for a while but god damnit it's still my team. So when the Patriots finally won the big one, I just can't imagine what some of you guys must've felt. Proudly saying the Patriots are the World Champions. The best team in the league and Robert Kraft had a big hand in that one, as he traded for BB from the Jets, eventually the best HC of all time.

The next years were like a fairy tale. A new dynasty was born, the New England Patriots Dynasty. Something that only a few franchises achieved and now the Patriots belonged to that elite circle. The former perennial loser turned into the model franchise. What a turn around! The 2 men ,who played the biggest part in it, are BB and Tom Brady. Not Robert Kraft, because let's face it, most owners are not that much involved into the daily sports business of a franchise.

Then the first "scandal" happened: Spygate. Every one's done it, but the Pats got caught. BB said he was guilty, even though we all know, that it simply wasn't that much of a big deal. He tapped signals from the wrong position, big deal. But as we all learned, the Patriots became the Cheatriots. That's when Mr. Kraft should've defended the man who made his franchise into the powerhouse it is right now. We all know he didn't as he is a businessman and simply wanted for things to run smoothly again. In many eyes the dynasty legacy was tainted, but he choose to not protect it.

Now we're in the present and this time, it's different. The league is going after Tom Brady. Tom Brady, who just became the 3rd QB to win 4 rings, in a performance for the ages. That's what it was. A drop the mic performance from the GOAT. The man who sacrificed one big pay day after another, so that the team could stay competitive has been officially branded a cheater by the league. The ultimate competitor, who worked his ass off every year he has been in the league, a man that earned everything he achieved, is now officially called a cheater by the NFL. On what grounds? On wrong science combined with a few text messages. The reputation he earned over a decade. Mr. Kraft believes him, but he doesn't fight for him. For the second the time he doesn't fight for a guy that sacrificed so much for his franchise.

Why? Because Mr. Kraft isn't a fan like us, he is just a businessman that's doing what's best for his business.
It's not like his legacy on the line. No, he made sure that he is all buddy with Goodell again and that neutral/31 other guys applaud him for his "dignified" way to handle the situation. If he had even a shred of fight in him he would've fought for the honor of his franchise. Sadly, you can't meassure honor in $ and that will be ultimately the reason why he went that way. I mean he was so freaking dignified he didn't even try to protect TB in his press conference.

See that's the difference to us fans. We care about our team and the players. It was BB and TB that made all of this possible not Mr. Kraft. He only had one job, to even try and fight for them as they did for you and for your franchise on the field. But he didn't. I will never forget what those did for us and I simply can't bear it that all their achievements are now tainted and he didn't even bother to fight the NFL ... AGAIN! Not even fighting for us paying fans! Everywhere we go we are now branded as fans of the Cheaters. Yeah, that's what everyone wants to hear in a off season where your team just won the freaking SB.

In the beginning I really thought Deflategate could be the end for Goodell, turns out it just showed me what a spineless coward Mr. Kraft is and hopefully begann the end of him as the owner of the New England Patriots. Neutrals, other fans might respect you now, but don't believe for one second that many fans still have the slightest bit of respect for you left.

Will every 2015 game b a sell out-yup
Will there b the yearly "who's going to the game"?(playoff) thread on the board?-yup

Betcha they won't sell out every game..
And talking about the team on the message board doesn't earn them money.

So there is no apology from goodel for his leaks , no internal investigation of blandino's lies and kensil , everything in the wells report what goodell interpreted has been accepted "reluctantly" . So what did kraft achieve with all this ?? We got even more mocked.
