Shefter: Kraft caved on his own. No deal for Brady

Shefter said that he's been told there is no deal cut between Kraft and Goodell on Brady's suspension.

Also quite a few in the national mediots have noticed that Kraft didn't even bother mentioning Tom Brady in his remarks today. Nice eh??

I want Bob Kraft booed and booed loudly in his own stadium on 9/10/2015 .
Let the other owners and his favorite Commish dry his crocodile tears.

Demand a release Tom, no one will blame you.

IF it is true then it is good news for Brady. Now he can take the fight to court (and win).

I was so excited to attend my first game at the razor. See the banner raised.

Now nothing sounds less appealing

How is everyone else doing with the mocking text messages that are coming in?

I get to look like a moron now to everyone I talked to about this.

Ya that's what "nfl sources" are saying but we'll have to wait until Brady's appeal to see if it was true. goodell can't let the idiot masses think he gave the Pats a break. If Brady's suspension is overturned then there was a deal, if it is upheld or only reduced then there was never a deal.

Wouldn't that be awesome!!
If Brady is suspended on opening night I'd LOVE to see empty seats all over the place as an FU to Goodell AND his love interest Bob Kraft.

It will be interesting to see if Goodell backs down on being the arbitrator. I think that was the deal that was cut.

Kraft is a giant spineless ****y. If you actually believe the team is innocent, you don't take a $1 million, 1st rd pick and 4th rd pick fine for something you didn't do. You just don't. So either the team actually did something, or Kraft is the softest pos two faced lying **** he appears to be atm.

Just heard that Vikings are goin HARD & HEAVY with a motion against Goodell & NFL for Contempt Of Court for reinstating A.Petersen stating Goodell did not own up to agreement with AD.
Kudos to NFLPA and Vikings not I condone or agree with AD's actions invoving his son but just mere fact that Vikings Have Inflated Ballz to take on NFL & Goodell unlike our Gutless Leader. Also NFLPA Still wants Goodell to step aside on Brady Appeal.

If that was the deal then Kraft is insane and needs to be committed. Goodell hearing the case is a major open door for Brady to go to court. Goodell naming one of his flunkies hurts Tom. But given how weak and spineless Kraft has turned out to be (caved before the freakin' meetings even started) it would not surprise me.

Yep. I think Patriot fans should boycott every game until Brady returns and turn their backs on Kraft if he comes out to hoist the SB banner. He deserves an empty stadium.

Kraft deserves whatever he deserves for what he has brought us since he has been here. What you deserve is to root for a team with the record of the patriots before Kraft arrived.

Bob Kraft would have to do a whole lot that I don't like for me to turn on him. 4 trophies and a decade and a half of winning are things I could only dream about when I was a kid.

Brady and the NFLPA do not want a deal.

Brady wants to force it go to an independent arbitrator who will (he hopes) will overturn the suspension and call out the Wells report and exonerate him. Any deal with Goodell will not include an exoneration or admission that the Wells report has nothing on him.

The NFLPA want to win a court case with Brady to get the Federal courts to strip Goodell of some of his power. If Goodell overturns the suspension, they cannot go to court to do so.
