The only post on this Forum I have ever received negative ratings ( five ) was when I posted the following in a thread started by Patfanken on Jan 15th, 2015 :
"BOB is interested only in protecting his billion dollar enterprise. That's why he will not protest, will not speak up - will not do anything that will rock the cash cow that is NFL."

Bawb, you are who I thought you were!!

Don't buy any more tickets....problem solved. Why on earth would you give Bob Kraft one more dime?
I've been a season ticket holder for 22 years. Tix for 2015 already are paid. I love this team, it's not something you quit immediately. I need time to think this travesty through.

I ask all the Pats fans to stop going to the game, stop buying the jerseys, don't spend another penny on Patriots as a protest of Kraft's statement. Please spread this message as much as you can.

This really is one of those moments that makes you re-evaluate things. I WANT to care still, but really having trouble seeing how I could ever care in the same way again.
The owner just guaranteed that his team will be playing uphill. Every close play and every close game that goes against the Pats, you will have to wonder if the outcome might have been different if we had that #1 CB or that #4 WR on the team... And every time they win, someone will stick a asterisk next to it that says *cheated.

one thread of sanity left to this

it is possible for Kraft to just be getting out of the way, but I don't see a member of the NFL 32 going into kahoots this way

Interesting Tweet.

Being owner of the team is likely to become a lot less fun for him now than it used to be.

Still, that's not reason for him to sell.

If the fan base convinced him that they would prefer ownership, that would be a different matter, but I don't think that will happen. There's a tip of a spear for that at sites like this, but not much wood behind the tip at all. Most people just don't care enough one way or the other (and that's actually pretty healthy).

Yes, I will never expel energy over something like this. Its billionaires playing millionaires to play a game and it does not effect my life whatsoever. I only get 2 things.

1. Entertainment - which is all it is.
2. Bragging rights - which will be gone because talking about the Pats with people now will be painful.

And for all the threatening here of boycotts and not following the team anymore just remember that there are millions of people who will still go see this team play. Plenty of casual fans and pink hats who will be there. Krafts worries about them. Not about the members here and the other "die with the team" people.

This board (of diehards) is the minority by far.

So, i nthe end he doesn't what the rhetoric to continue as it has for the last 4 months?

Does he honestly believe that that won't be the narrative every time someone perceives there is a slight or we make the playoffs or we play the colts or anytime they want to call the team out?

Can I tell little kids that the boogeyman does exist and his name is Roger Goodell?

Embarrassing. Even in a crazy scenario where Kraft is "covering for someone" I would rather all the cards get played and we find out what's what.

If there were something to cover up Brady and the NFLPA wouldn't be moving forward with a lawsuit.

Over under on the number of games the patriots win before someone accuses them of cheating?

They beat the steelers, but coach tomlin thinks that maybe the patriots used some sort of devices to make it easier to play defense. well the patriots deflated footballs, and stole signals, so they probably invented a defensive force field devices that prevents touchdowns, we can't prove they didn't invent that device so OBVIOUSLY THEY DID IT, TAKE THE REST OF THE 2016 PICKS AND BB IS DONE FOR THE YEAR

Brady is better off retiring and riding into the sunset on a Super Bowl victory with his millions of dollars and his supermodel wife. How he would ever want to play for a man that just completely threw him under the bus for his own financial good is beyond me.

I think it would be both just and fitting for both Brady and Belichick to step down and cite Krafts lack of support for the team as the reason. I would support both and cancel the NFLN And stop watching football if they did.

What does this have to do with anything and is there a game tomorrow that I dont know about?

Talk about red herrings.

What some will miss is this:

Even if the Patriots/Brady were guilty, this move still sells out Brady's appeal in front of Goodell. If Kraft was going to fold, he could at least have waited.

I am hoping but have little faith that Kraft's move included dropping Brady's suspension.

I'm done. I once fell for the "I'm just a fan like you" line. Today Kraft showed he's more interested in being one of 32 than one of 68,000. He threw the fan base's interests away and he won't ever get another dime from me.

T E="Froob, post: 4219406, member: 21634"]Now he makes Brady look like a jackass for appealing. Never let Kraft into the Pats hall of fame. Never forget this day.[/QUOTE]
exactly. He admitted guilt. This is going to be a whole new Spygate against us. This bastard has tarnished the image of this team for ever. he bent over for that one and now is going to bend over for this one. I live in New Jersey. I'm going to have to walk around and answer these questions for the rest of my life? I don't think I can stomach it. It just gets tiring try to defend the Patriots all the time. When the owner won't even defend them, how can I?. He admitted We are guilty

Millions still go to watch baseball.
Millions no longer do, and the game is feeling it.

Whether you believe it or not, you make a difference. I quit baseball after they stole the World Series, and I haven't gone back. Now, I'll quit football after Brady retires, because the league is clearly corrupt.

And I will never pay for another NFL item, of any kind, again.

I'm livid. And I think Kraft is spineless. But let's all wait a little here before coming to conclusions about selling off of the Patriots. Do you think all Skins fans like Snyder? Think all Cowboy fans like Jerry Jones?

You don't have to support the owner to be a Patriots fan. Kraft won't miss you either way, he'll be a rich man whether you all leave or not.

You guys love these players and you can't deny it.

Just think before you leave.

Why not? Kraft quit on you. Sell your tickets.

Are you honestly going to give this man more of your money by going to the games?

Sit home...watch it on TV (unless you're a Neilsen participant)......cheer for the Pats....and then call the people who paid for commercials and let them know that you will not be buying their product.

Or......you can go to the games.....give Spinless Bob more of your money and then rationalize how great a fan you are instead of the fool you've become.

I sure do hope that if Brady's suspension gets dropped everyone lets Kraft off the hook and goes back to worhsipping at his altar

I am referring to the draft picks Kraft just surrendered without a fight.

I hope your wrong and I am right about the team penalties $$$ and draft choices.

why would Goodell reduce them after Kraft gave up fighting?
There is no means to reduce them he refused to appeal.
