I did that soul searching I said I was going to do, and I resolved upon something like this. We are not the first fans who have to reconcile our love for the players and coaches with the presence of a corrupt ******* owner, and we won't be the last.
I think the problem is that too many people take all of this to serious. Its a business unfortunately and a lot of times money trumps principals. In any business.

The key is to just understand that. Nobody has to respect the guy, but for fans to turn against the team would give all the other 32 teams and all their fans exactly what they want. You have to think of them as terrorists. They are trying to get you to change your lifestyle. Dont let them do it by giving them what they want.

Just realize that BK is a businessman, this is a business and you are a customer.

Kraft has now put Brady in a position where, for 'legacy' purposes, Brady is better off losing his appeal and having to go to court.

Brady is better off retiring and riding into the sunset on a Super Bowl victory with his millions of dollars and his supermodel wife. How he would ever want to play for a man that just completely threw him under the bus for his own financial good is beyond me.

What kills me was the insult added to injury in Kraft's language. Even deciding not to sue or appeal he could have at least ripped Goodell and the league office a new one.

Instead we get "I do have respect for the commissioner and believe that he is doing what he believes is in the spirit of the best for the whole 32 teams."

F**k you and the horse you rode in on, Bob.

I just got off the phone with one of the season ticket account managers. He said they have received a few calls from upset fans such as myself. He was very courteous -- listened to me, took notes, said it will be passed along and that I "might" hear back from a team representative.

What a helpless feeling this is, like figuratively being knifed in the back.

Don't buy any more tickets....problem solved. Why on earth would you give Bob Kraft one more dime?

Now they think the Brady suspension is going to be lifted because Krafty relented. But the Wells report didn't see the Pats being involved, so how can they keep the punishment for the team while absolving Brady? It makes no sense. Krafty screwed the fans and the team and Brady. So he could deflate Goodells balls! Pure and simple, rich little ****y who would rather hang with the billionaires than support the fan base!

The Krafts also own the Revolution. Those of you who follow both sports now have to deal with an untrustworthy owner twice over.

My condolences.

I hope everyone boos those clowns in the bar Kraft built at the ends of the stadium. I forgot about that Deus.

Just curious, when did Brady reformulated the contract and became basically a guy who can easily be cut ?

I will always root for the Patriots, but this is the second time that owner bends to the NFL ..

His priorities are very different from the priorities of fans ..

Embarrassing. Even in a crazy scenario where Kraft is "covering for someone" I would rather all the cards get played and we find out what's what. In a scenario that Kraft is just being a good soldier - how can anyone respect that ?

I'm done with Kraft. Was done before this presser. He is an embarrassment.

What in the world are you talking about?
Kraft just went on national TV and ENDORSED the penalties Goodell levied on his team for his employees cheating.
Kraft is simply a very stupid, weak and spineless man.

I hope your wrong and I am right about the team penalties $$$ and draft choices.

He should just sell the team. Its obvious where is loyalty is and the value will never be higher than it is now.

Being owner of the team is likely to become a lot less fun for him now than it used to be.

Still, that's not reason for him to sell.

If the fanbase convinced him that they would prefer ownership, that would be a different matter, but I don't think that will happen. There's a tip of a spear for that at sites like this, but not much wood behind the tip at all. Most people just don't care enough one way or the other (and that's actually pretty healthy).

"I think the NFL is 10 years away from an implosion," Cuban said Sunday evening when his pregame conversation with reporters, which covered a broad range of topics, swayed toward football. "I'm just telling you: Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered. And they're getting hoggy.

"Just watch. Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered. When you try to take it too far, people turn the other way. I'm just telling you, when you've got a good thing and you get greedy, it always, always, always, always, always turns on you. That's rule No. 1 of business."

Please be correct, Mark.

I know he and BB won't retire. But I deeply wish they would. I kinda wish JE would too but I suspect he needs the $ more than the other two. LOL

If Brady had a press conference where he said, in effect,

"Kraft thew me under the bus. Screw him. I'm not playing for him ever again."

I think 95%+ of the NE fans would be on his side. And we both know how rarely fans side with the players.

Unfortunately, Brady's been a company man from day one, and I don't see that changing.

It doesn't even matter if Brady wins in court. With Kraft having thrown the team under the bus the mark of cheater will ALWAYS remain even if Brady gets off. The team's punishment is for allegedly cheating, and people will always point to that as proof since Kraft didn't even bother to fight it. Brady's legacy is now irrecoverable.

Thanks Bob. Go fu.k yourself.

My guess......Brady's appeal will be termed "very persuasive" by the NFL and subsequently the organizational punishment will be significantly reduced. Of course Brady would be standing on firmer ground if the FUC*ING OWNER DIDN'T CAVE LIKE A BEE_ATCH.

This really is one of those moments that makes you re-evaluate things. I WANT to care still, but really having trouble seeing how I could ever care in the same way again.

I hope people grow a spine (unlike our owner) and not go to the game and not give him one more dime.

He IS correct. You're already starting to see seeds of it all over the entire league.
